I have 17 dollars of spare cash left over on my Steam account. Looking for some suggestions on games for that amount that aren't crap. I haven't played a single player game since Far Cry 3 came out, so SP is preferred. I was considering System Shock 2 because it seems to be popular here. Also considered Star Wars Battlefront 2 because I really enjoyed it on the PS2. I don't really mind if it's new or not. Just looking for something new since i'm kind of burnt out on current games (besides tf2 of course)

It's hard to find a game that won't likely be available with like a 75% discount during the Summer Sale.

Yeah I understand, but i'm looking for a game to hold me over until then, so just using the current prices is most helpful.

binding of isaac, torchlight II, dungeons of dredmor, don't starve, borderlands 2, w/e
i like playing loot games alone
bit trip runner 1/2, mark of the ninja, limbo, bastion, dustforce, hotline miami, antichamber, and sonic generations are all pretty good, but they're all short (within the 20-40 hours of gameplay range)
if you liked farcry 3, you might like farcry 3: blood dragon too, since that's a standalone game, although it's also pretty short (it's amazing)

TL2 is ~$6.80 today
System Shock 2 for sure
Star Wars Dark Forces
Overlord
Dungeons of Dredmor (not for everyone, though)
Star Wars Republic Commando
Company of Heroes
Brothers in Arms: Road To Hill 30
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Orcs Must Die!/Orcs Must Die! 2
Mark of the Ninja was great considering the same studio did an average job with Shank
Ys 1 and 2 Chronicles+
La Mulana
I fucking love SWBF1 and 2 but I'm gonna tell you right now unless you have a significant group of people to play with, playing against bots is gonna get stale reaaaaaaal fast.

Wouldn't it be better to wait a lil' bit until the summer sales? Almost if not all of the games mentioned in this thread so far is gonna get hit with massive discounts.
Are you into strategy games? If so, supcom FA for 10 bucks is still the best game offer on the internet.
Any of the Total War game series really, they are all basically awesome.
This is ofc only if your into turn based/real time strategy games.
