I've been having this issue for about a week now and I just dont know how to deal with this. Basically whenever i play TF2 and various other games ill get a random skip in my game. My ping is constantly below 60 and my fps doesnt seem to drop at all during these times and stays relatively high (unless it just drops for a split second and i cant actually see the number fluctuate) But pretty much its been really screwing with my jumps and ill teleport through a choke when i dont want to and various other issues. Help me tf.tv, ill love you long time.

I have been having this EXACT same issue you describe. I havent been able to pin point it. It seems to happen a lot when I go to rocket jump. My ping is also steadily 60-70. Do you have custom skins, or any kind of custom particles? I have a custom rocket that is a bit bigger than the original and not sure if that could be causing it?

I noticed frame drops that caused skipping. Using mat_filtertextures 1 helped a lot for me(I think it just smooths things out)

Yeah that pretty much sounds exactly the same Downpour, crystal smooth and then it just skips for a second. As for that little tip from Geknaiir, nothing seemed to change and restarting my pc doesnt help either :/

Unless rays HUD has something implemented into it that i was unaware of because i just liked the look of it and downloaded it.... no sir i do not.

It's a hud problem...
Really, I had this problem, and I basically just said "fuck custom huds, I'm out" and it fixed it.

Mine is doing the same thing, it stutters a little more in dx9 but is still prevalent in dx8

had the same problem, still have it, and its worse on medic...its only started after the pipe update

...but dont worry because the game loads quick now, so that makes everything okay guys
