I have seen a lot of players (all Snipers) walking around with the hashtag #heat in their names for around 3 seasons of UGCHL. Is there any reason why?

I have seen a lot of players (all Snipers) walking around with the hashtag #heat in their names for around 3 seasons of UGCHL. Is there any reason why?

There are several dozen (maybe even hundreds at this point) "exclusive" sniper groups that all have some silly tag. Most of them earned their cred from sniper servers and are kind of awful at competitive for the most part since all they do is pub or play 24/7 sniperz ridge.

it was a group i made for fun w/ some friends and every fuckin random ass kid bugged me to get in so it turned into a sniper group

Hey man, I have a real life friend who's in hh and he doesn't go around saying he's the sniper god incarnate.
They just enjoy TF2 like the rest of us, and I think the bashing is somewhat excessive.

you forgot the best part:
each of these sniper groups has the exact same people in them for the most part except for like 1-2 people in each one.
