my team is considering joining ESEA-O (a long time from now). we didn't know if you had to pay for open. if you do, how much? also that question should be answered for IM and Invite as well.
thnx :)

You need Premium, which is what Snaz linked, plus the league fee. It's $8 for Open and $12 for IM. Not sure about Invite.
I heard that Invite is $50 (edit: confirmed above), but I think they also get free premium.
hey aiman! miss ya <3 im so happy you're looking to join open :D

It isn't even worth it. I'll take paying $8 league fee (open, IM was $12) + ~$20 of premium over a flat $50 any day. If I played cs and actually used the pug system, sure I'd be happy but sadly the only thing esea offers us is its prize pot and lan.
You pay ~$8 (once) + Premium (~$7 per month with discounts when you buy in bulk, most people buy 3 months for the typical length of a season @ $20)
So why are there 10 teams in Invite when only 4 go to LAN, and many teams have no shot at going to LAN? Wouldn't teams break up and reform in open to avoid paying to play in Invite?
please educate me i are confuse
