They are seriously going overboard with the items now...this is out of control...ANOTHER 64 could be on their way?? (if they all get the go-ahead at some point)

They make money off of these items, don't see why they would stop doing things that gets them paid

there's little effort needed in tossing community items in, they get a good amount of money off of it, and they can say that they directly help the community by giving them a free hot tub filled with cash. no reason for them NOT to do it

as long as they get money they will also continue to support the game.

I'm really happy that valve seems to be giving a good effort to balance tf2.

I'm just trying to comprehend right now, what would actually happen to this game is they added 64 new weapons. No hats, no reskins, no miscs. All new weapons, with new stats. Just think about how much that would fuck up every aspect of this game, from sourcemods (updating to allow for them) to the economy aspect (No one would have all of them) to the actual game (No one would know what they do). That would be absolutely hilarious.

Can't be, weapons aren't supported by the Gold Star process right now.
