15 buck dark souls, can't go wrong

I torrented that awhile ago and I've played it over at least 3,000 times. Not that I don't want to throw money at Gearbox and even though I have money to spend right now, it's money I want to spend carefully. Something else that can waste my time for awhile.

Hmmm, the newest single player game that I enjoyed was Far Cry 3, and that is definitely not new. I'm a huge fan of the ARMA series, so if you haven't check out ARMA 3 you could grab it in beta stage. I also enjoyed Civilization V which if i'm not mistaken is very cheap through the Summer Sale.

Just cause 2 is $3, I'm still DLing but it looks good.

I've played Kingdoms of Amalur for a bit, I enjoyed it at the beginning but then it got pretty boring. Didn't absorb me at all, though most single player games don't.

I liked Kingdoms of Amalur, I was surprised no one else I knew played it except for shootist. I don't think it really meets your criteria at all, though. There isn't really any replay value and the game itself is fairly short. I played it for 2-3 days, beat the game, and never touched it since.

If it goes on sale it would be a nice pickup, but not at full price.

after watching destiny play it, i've been playing "dust: an elysian tail" a lot lately. it's a super fun rpg-style beat em up and has a strong story, graphics, and sounds. has some references to other RPGs and some older games. definitely worth playing.

i heard antichamber is really good.

fuck NO. I am not wasting my fucking money on that game. It had so much damn potential until I came to the realization that it has no fucking end. The game just stops, the story just abruptly ends and that's it. if there's any game that legitimately pisses me off, it's rage.
