So trying to get a circle crosshair around the default crosshair, without using any other huds. So just Vanilla TF2 + a circle crosshair around the default crosshair.
Try this, what you'd want to do for a circle crosshair is pick a font you have installed, set the labeltext to "o" and then just center it. you'd need to find a font that has a very round o or 0 but that should be fairly easy.

Of course it will change your HUD, how else do you think you can make a circle pop up in the middle of your screen?

Sorry, I meant the 2nd step requires to get a custom hud... which would change every aspect of the default hud.

Thought it was fairly self explanatory, but you'd find a base custom hud that you want to use for certain things (Crosshair) and then just delete the rest. if I have time tomorrow i'll try to set it up for you.
