Game crashing

Well whatever is happening tonight all of my items are gone and my game keeps randomly closing, no error message or anything. Is anyone else experiencing something like this or know a fix?

I've validated twice and I don't use mumble overlay. I've heard rumors of other people not having their loadout either. Could it have anything to do with huds?

Try removing your HUD and installing a different one. If that works, redownload your old HUD (if you want to continue using it) and try that.

I had the same problem with my game crashing when I joined a server and then when I went to go join a different server it didn't crash. I uninstalled and re installed my game and it seemed to work.

This happened to me tonight too. I had to delete items_game.txt from my custom hud folder to fix it.

I think that worked, thanks smaka. Also playing on just default hud worked.
