I'm really trying to get used to the new hud but there are still some things that I miss/don't get. I've posted about the health crosses before, but also I don't really know about the bounding boxes that show up when you are low health or overhealed. I think they look a bit naff. If there was an option to have the color of the text change instead of the box being added. It kind of defeats the purpose of why I ran ya_hud Blank before the update.
JniwhayayDid some editing in FontForge to improve the kerning.where can i download the one with the old font?

This is the best I could do, the program kept crashing when saving and doing other weird things :/
EDIT: Also added new SpecHUD stuff, left side scoreboard and a MainMenu replacement with ALL CAPS buttons.

First you'll need to find one of the older commits that you want to download. Then you can click on "browse code" and download the zip there.

TheJatshiojwTF2 crashes on the loading screen when the hud is installed. But I'm pretty sure I've placed resource and scripts folder in the correct location (tf/custom/hud/). And this only seems to happen for yahud though and not for the other custom huds... :/ I'm on a Mac too, if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance.
same here :(
Mac OS seems to not be working with this hud anymore and I have no way of testing it. I think omphud and rayshud still work fine though.

how to extend the green background? and is STV_HUD for spectating? if so, how do you put it to the resource/ui folder when some of the contents have same name?

heya, most of the changes aqre really great, but i really prefered some features of the older versions.
1.
When i have low/bufffed ammo health, i want the numbers to change colours, not some background boxes to pop up. I would like them to behave just like in the old "blank" version" Is it possible to change that, and how do i do that?
2.
How do i enable the UberChargeMeter at the bottom again? I found it in the HudMedicCharge.res but, setting its to visible will only enable a gray-transparent bar at the bottom of the screen, wich does not seem to be affected by the actual charge.
Thats it so far! Great Hud still =)
thx a lot =)

Increase the "wide" argument in HudPlayerHealth.res under the "HealthBG" heading.

Can you add the center version again but with all the new features?
I don't know if this is the place to post this but are you planning on trying to fix the Mac version?
I'd like to make the ammo smaller on the old "blank lower version". You said to do it, on the new version, to change "boldnumbers54" but how do i do it on the old blank HUD. That's what i ask.
And also for the health size thanks

Don't think I'll be able to, it appears to just be a random crash.

Try wiping your custom folder and re-installing the HUD as well as verifying your game.
Please open an issue on GitHub if you still experience issues after the usual resets and re-installs. (And please add info like OS and resolution and so on)

Please read the readme files. They can be enabled in the clientscheme in the resource folder.

Hey whayay, I am loving the closed captions, but I have one question: can you explain to me how to change the colors of them? Specifically the Medic Hit/Hurt. I tried changing the .txt file and it did nothing then I tried changing the .dat file and they all got messed up. I looked online for tutorials but couldn't really find anything.
This was linked in the info file for the cc

Hey. I fell in love with your HUD the moment it came out! Is there a way to get rid of the boxes, kind of like the old blank version, and instead have the numbers turn red/green like the old HUD?
hey, sorry for the noob question, but i know how to enable the stats (kills, deaths, etc) but does anyone know how to enable the FULL stats like doms, defenses, and stuff like that? Im not that big of a fan on the stats on the left side
Incoming wall of text again. Yes, there's stats on the scoreboard now, but some other stuff has changed also...

What's new?
INFO
I decided to branch out a bit and created 3 new versions. The old version still works and I will try to maintain the old repo on GitHub. The HUD should stay in a usable state for a while. (There are alternatives as well, check out Garm3n's REX and the Hudas project).
This whole thing has been in the works for a while. I hope you like the result!
About the different versions:
The first of the new versions, FLV, is based on a simple concept: You pick your team, which determines the HUD's main color. Red or blue. This is basically the new "main" version. http://imgur.com/a/OBoDr
5MD is sort of the basic version of FLV. It features the bonus-cross health effect, which is used in a variety of other HUDs. Other than the red cross and the green uber color this HUD is kept in grayscale. Its plain-ness is supposed to allow it to be used as a canvas. It will be easy to add your own colors without them clashing with other colors of the HUD. This HUD is still heavily WIP and might turn out completely different in the end. http://imgur.com/a/9mJdY
CMYK is using that 5MD canvas, but goes a bit beyond it with some additional tweaks. It features strong colors (Cyan, Magenta and Yellow) and a stronger contrasts between all elements. Team-indicators haven been adjusted to the color-scheme. http://imgur.com/a/xp4C4
Other things that are worth mentioning:
I've used broesel's little trick to get custom materials working with sv_pure. This allows for the team-indicator and certain team-colored elements. This also made the current SpecHUD possible.
The new crosshair should feel familiar to anyone that has used fog's crosshairs before. The different characters of the alphabet match different crosshairs. I'm using the method that Ell (check out his HUD!) has shown me to center them. They should be automatically centered for any resolution. I only recently started messing around with crosshair-fonts in FontForge, so these might take a bit to be polished.
All the other crosshairs (fog, Garm3n and konr) are still included.
Customization is still a main feature of this HUD, I'm still testing ways to make it easier for people to use and access various options. The readme has been simplified, too.
This project was originally a modification of Garm3nHUD-SL and I even went back a bit to its roots again (it's a bit more colorful). The main font is identical to the recent Garm3nHUD versions. (Novecento, it's free!) The winpanel is heavily based on the old Garm3nHUD REX winpanel.

Thanks :)
And here's "whoops no. 1"
I messed up a material for the red version, if your game starts with a blue screen you'll need to re-download.

also, CrosshairAA gives the character you input for the corssahair, not the crosshair.
How did you make it so the crosshair is always centered on every resolution?
like it so far but can i can enable the small uber percentage under the crosshair?

The entry in the clientscheme should do it. It's called "Small%".
TreshHow did you make it so the crosshair is always centered on every resolution?
With Swedish magic that has been told to me by Ell.
On a serious note:

zeekyincHow do you add the home server?
From the readme:
//Main Menu
You can enter your name for the main menu in
/resource/ui/MainMenuOverride.res
The bottom right star button can connect you to your favourite server.
You'll need to add...
alias Home "connect <insert server IP>;password <insert password>"
...to your autoexec in order to make the "Home Server" button work.
