Oh, this is a simple one. Find out what you two share in common (movies, food, video games, whatever), and just come up to her and ask her if she's down to chill with you for a bit. Just have a relaxed pose and light tone of voice, and do it as a friend.

This will clue her off that you're not just trying to rip her pants apart - and if she has a friendly stance towards you she'll cough up her number. From there, you can start to hang out with her and see if you've really got the true hots for this girl in question.

I don't see the disadvantage of doing it either way - if you ask for hers first and she turns you down you at least won't be wasting your time, right?

Isn't a week a little too quick of a turnaround? I mean, if you go for it this quickly, you'll likely either get used as a rebound, or friend zoned.

If you give her your number you can easily get hers. In most situations, you don't even need to ask:

"We should grab coffee/dinner/a movie together. My number is [number]; tell me your number so we can set up a time later."

Note that there's no question mark in this sentence. Say it confidently, and not hurriedly. And take out your phone and look ready to enter her number as you say it. If she has a problem with giving out her number, she'll tell you. Rejection in real life is far less dramatic than rejection in movies, as direct confrontation generally isn't feminine behavior. Then, once you have a number, don't ask when she's free -- simply propose something a few days later:

"Let's grab dinner at [place] at [time]."

If she has a problem with that place or time, she'll let you know. But you need to remember that typically women are not the aggressors in relationships -- it's on you. You have to make the first moves.

Next time you see her tell her you want to have sex. Then get her number.

That's the problem. I am very confident and can even temporarily boost my confidence when I need to. But the problem is that I don't have a real reason to exchange numbers. The best one I can think of is more trig help but I think that's overpushing it.

Theres 2 things you can do, either play it hard to get, being; dont talk to her for like a week and hopefully she'll kind of wonder why your not talking to her that much, but this will only usually work if your good friends with the person and not just aquantinces. OR you can just ask her out. The worst thing that can happen is you get rejected which is honestly not that bad, but on the flipside, it might actually work :) Hope this helps

you just gotta be chill about it, you made your move now its up to her to act on it so its alright to just give it to her (in more ways than one). when you act like you really don't give a fuck she'll wonder why you haven't gone out of your way to get in touch with her...its pretty much up in the air at that point and you don't come off as desperate or annoying which is good. and that usually is a good way to start it off just sayin something like hit me up if you wanna get some coffee or grab a drink some time. its chill and girls like that. don't over think it either.
