ever since the new update i've been crashing so many (happens more in tournament mode) times.
what happens is that the game freezes and then loops the sound from the second that it crashes

it happened to me and it seemed to be fixed when i restarted my computer, iunno about you though, i hope it gets fixed!

alright, i tried rolling back my graphics drivers and i played for like 30 minutes and it didn't crash..
but i might just be lucky, anywho,
i will test it for like 2 hours tomorrow and report back.
EDIT: rolling back video drivers did NOT work; I still crashed like normal.

How about listing some useful stuff about your computer already. Use that speccy or if your computer is a prebuilt, then the model number. Are you on XP? You're fucked.

You can run a performance test on your computer to check for possible hard drive failure, 3d ability on the graphics card and other possible shortfalls of your system in its current state. TL:DR Same thing was happening to me. Old 8800GT and older HDD failed. YMMV

Thanks for the heads up. I did a check and everything was working fine. I might have found a temporary fix. I ran tf2 in big picture mode and didn't crash. Played for about 2 hours.
