Cowboy Bebop is so good it ascends above the "anime" descriptor and becomes god tier. I honestly think Cowboy Bebop is to anime what The Wire is to live-action tv series
kaiserRegYou can't go wrong with Dragonball and Dragonball ZDragonball Kai seems to be a very suitable replacement for dragonball z, they cut out all the useless filler/censoring and updated some of the voice acting/animation, as well as shortened each 20 episodes per fight to about like 4-5 episodes per fight. They haven't gotten to the the Buu saga yet though, so you may want to watch the regular series for that if you want

I dunno, the DBZ Kai version is not at all bad, but I actually enjoyed some filler episodes, and some of the new dubbed voices annoy me, like Kid Gohan. Also, they're most likely not going to produce any more episodes due to the natural disaster in Japan. :C
