So far I basically got my 3DSXL for SMT games and VLR and I don't regret it one bit. Oh yeah and I guess the new Phoenix Wright game's coming soon too.

Yes, the new Phoenix Wright will be amazing.
I'd buy it just for Zelda...even though I have an N64 already, why the hell not play Zelda when on the train to uni!?!?
Yes; I bought one about a month ago just for long trips and such, and I don't regret doing so. With all the titles out (Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart, etc.) and all the titles coming out in the future (Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, Pokemon X/Y, Zelda: A Link to Both Worlds, Smash Bros, etc.), it's worth it. Honestly, the only reason I did buy one was for Smash Bros coming out next year, but I bought Fire Emblem with the system, and I haven't been able to stop playing it. So I'd say buying a 3DS is worth it.
im planning on getting one in winter along with animal crossing, one of the new pokemon, and monster hunter, that shit looks so fun

Not only that, games on handhelds aren't just Where's my Water/Angry Birds/Bejeweled.
I know it's been said before in this thread, but Fire Emblem Awakening is fan-fucking-tastic

Touch screen controls are absolute shit garbage for games that aren't angry birds or that temple run shit.
I haven't followed portable console news in a while but somewhat recently I think I heard Nintendo is releasing some kind of 3DS bundle with Pokemon? Or something like that? Can anyone clarify that? Apparently it's confirmed for Japan and nothing has been said for NA.
If so, it'll probably come pre-installed on an (the?) SD card, which is a pain in the butt.

I've been contemplating buying a 3ds just to play this game. I need to work more hours so I can have it faster.
