EA's Humble Bundle got some pretty nice games in it:

Pay what you want for epic games on Origin
Is it really worth it?
Edit: Most games come with a steam key if you pay at least $1. (All except for Dead Space 3)

Dead Space 1, Burnout, MoH, Mirrors Edge, and Crysis have Steam keys. The above-average donation games are both Origin keys.
You're still getting 4 pretty decent games with Steam keys for a buck or two (MoH is excluded, of course), and Battlefield is Origin-exclusive anyways.

is battlefield 3 worth it? i really liked bad company 2, but the fact that i would shoot a dude point blank and he wouldnt die because of the games like registry and netcode issues made me not wanna play it.
Ah yes, the same games I got for free with that $20 coupon flop earlier this year.
BF3 was pretty fun. I put a couple hundred hours in on that when it came out. If you like Bad Company 2, you will like 3

Good news if you really hate EA, none of the money from this bundle is going to them. They've chosen to send it all to charity which is a pretty cool thing to do. So definitely consider buying it even if you hate them.

Yes and no.
Your shots will land fairly accurately, but expect to get shot from behind walls.
Although I would wait for Battlefield 4.

I'm actually tempted to install origin, as I don't have to give EA money for BF3. Anyone going to talk me out of it?
Bad company 2 is better than BF3.
This bundle is still legit though.

EA is already donating all the proceeds to charity, they get literally 0 money from this. please read the details before jumping aboard the EA hate train. More than half the games also come with steam games, the only ones your forced to use origin for are bf3 ds3 and sims.
edit: i'm dumb and didnt see people already saying this

their servers are trash, and with all the HumbleBundle customers trying to redeem their products their servers probably burst into flames

Well this has been a great introduction to a new service.
This bundle is amazing, I dont care if I hate EA or not, 5 of the 8 incredible games are redeemable on steam and as if that wasn't enough all money goes to charity and we get a double license for both steam and origin...
Its a win-win-win situation, EA gets somewhat of a good rep and great pr iniciative, gamers get good games, charities get ca$h. At the end of the day everyone goes home happy.
I might even try origin just to try BF3, as far as I know I loved bf2 and I never played another BF after that so It wouldn't hurt anyway.

i went for it, i don't have a lot time to play all of the games these days but I would kick myself later if I skipped these deals, and you can support some charity
So do I get two copies of every game besides the ones that are exclusive to origin?
This is sick -- as a hardcore fan of the Burnout series I didn't pick up Paradise because I was hesitant about the open-world
play but this is the perfect excuse to try it. Everything else is just icing on the cake.
