r4ptureSAJewersr4ptureIf QF brings more shit like Plats Conch play I more then welcome it.
While I'm all for more crazy plays like that, if it causes games to quickly devolve into Mexican Border Standoffs, then something should probably be done.
Instantly calling for a ban on a weapon because of one bad game is a really good way of sniffing out any innovative crazy plays.
This is why people should probably give it some time. The question is, how much time should it be given? Should we say "This is what we ended up with after a month of scrims, forget it" or should we say "There's more to the weapon than we know, and we're not getting it yet".
My fear is that to achieve the crazy plays people want, the gameplay and metagame will have to change so dramatically that 6s will be so different. That's not gonna happen I don't think.

The main reason why quickfix should have been banned was because it was a major mid season change to the weapon that wasn't just a nerf. Quickfix might find a counter eventually, but for now nobody knows the best way to deal with it aside from heavy which is inherently boring.
Probably shoulda waited until the offseason.

Remove the uber from the quickfix and you've got a perfectly balanced weapon, it's a little too OP/viable/well-rounded at the moment with the passive +40% heal rate on top of being able to uber. I mean why use normal uber when you can have something that heals 40% faster, charges 25% faster and gives a near as makes no difference ubercharge?

I think making the movement speed the same as the target would help. It never made sense to me the way it's currently done. Would cut down on heavy pocketing.
Removing the uber might be a good idea. I don't think that will really make the weapon less fun for medics.
