props to pledge for actually bringing life to the cast
JelloTymeI feel like I'm the only person around here who watched LG vs Mixup at I46. When they played Gullywash it ended 1-0 mix because of how close the teams were in skill. With mix back into good form the skill levels are close again and even without QF we are going to be seeing close games again. Especially on Gullywash. I think that time needs to be given in order for teams to really get used to the QF and the conch before we decide to just ban them. I have faith that strategies will be developed to make the QF's mobility more powerful/desirable than using it on a heavy. Although I do think that they should take away it's invulnerability to knockback/airblast. I feel that you should be allowed to cap with it but not be able to cap and no one be able to do anything about you capping.
that i46 game was super fun to spec tho, it wasn't really stalemate-heavy at all, both teams just kept pushing back against one another
but the qf discourages pushing on a map with as many chokes on gullywash. teams are forced to run it to mid to not handicap themselves, but then they have to find a way to push 2nd or last with the meh qf uber.

Does anyone know what Mix^/Platinum said in chat during the first half that went 0-0 after Cyzer said "Sorry fans/We didn't want quickfix"?
The sad thing is I'm actually debating whether or not it is worth it to watch the final tomarrow (today?)
The Medic self overheal from the QF uber is what is causing the problem since it prevents medics from dying to Burst damage or a quick scope headshot/fully charged body shot (You need heavy focus fire or a nearly fully charged headshot just kill the QF ubered medic). In its current state its bannable but remove the QF uber self overheal on the medic and it can be unbanned.
in non qf-related stuff, wasn't the number of crashes/players lagging much higher than usual? the purpose of LAN is to take shit like that off the table...

TF2 crashes, that's the unfortunate truth, playing on lan doesn't change that. LAN is to get ping out of the equation primarily.

Good for you. Doesn't mean it's the same for everyone else.

My point was that the lan setups should have no reason to crash more. Obviously tf2 doesn't have some mysterious crashing curse upon it, so playing at lan should result in less crashes than people playing on their own variable hardware.

Because Valve's Source Games are perfect and never crash?

Mixup 4-0 so far on snake. The curse..it's..unstoppable... !
WHOA mix^. So they really don't want HRG to break the curse afterall, seeing how they stomped in snakewater

Is a pause in between maps really necessary? Can't casters chitchat for ~10 minutes? Analyze the stats, bring in 1/2 guests to give their opinion on the game, etc.
B4nny's hair related to his skill confirmed.
btw, I noticed there is a lack of airshots in this lan.

Viaduct, time to take everything we've learned and chuck it out the window.
