I will predict that one of the teams that appears in the majority of people's rankings will be upset in the lower rounds.
I can only really see the top 3 to involve Epsilon, HRG and Broder.
Sorry Australia.
Sorry Australia.
MGEMikeEggplantI think HRG will come first. The main factor in my decision is the way that they've been built as a team, according to B4nny in his interviews, more "organically" and with a mind to long-term improvement, personality compatibility, and teamwork/synergy. This is different from other teams that have cut their way to the top or rely on amazing plays from individual players to turn the tide of battle. Epsilon is very strong, but they seem like a super-team like i46's Mix^, and so, given that they're equal to HRG in terms of DM (except for Mike and maybe stefan if he's in form), HRG's superior cohesion and teamwork will succeed. Also, Knoxx seems to waste more of his comms micro-ing people, which can slow the team down.the mix^ superteam of i46 won btw, and b4nny micros his team ;)
3rd Broder
4th iM/Infused
5th iM/Infused
they barely beat hrg and hrg's soldiers are infinitely better now gl friend

I don't care who wins, I want to see iM do well though :)

hrg has the most lan experience. too many people basing performance off of the showmatch.

I thought HRG were favourites until this ESEA season where they just looked terrified of losing. I don't see that working against Epsilon.
1. Epsilon eSports
2. Broder
3. Team Infused
4. HRG
5. PunchLine
6. Team Immunity
I can't see HRG putting up a serious fight or winning a map against Epsilon after seeing them last weekend. I hope they bring their A-game and we can see the very best of both sides of the oceans beating the crap out of eachother.

Hurg will win.
Just look at the history.
WWI won by: Americans (Euros implemented a very boring stalematey strategy and we came in and showed them how to win like men)
WWII won by: Americans (Euros tried a more aggressive strategy copying the American style but ultimately overextended and lost)
i46 won by: Americans (Euros implemented a very boring stalematey strategy and we came in and showed them how to win like men)
i49 won by: Americans (Euros tried a more aggressive strategy copying the American style but ultimately overextended and lost)

I don't play comp and I don't follow the euro comp scene, just watch a lot of invite games mostly...
But I remember just before i46, euros were saying the exact same thing before BOTH american teams 5-0'ed everyone...

No it's meant to get discussion going and build hype/narrative tension for the event, all the while entertaining the reader.

I'd hope not, because anyone saying "Yuki is the only great player from immunity" is kidding themselves.

Made me chuckle either way.
