Really immature
with the exception of his drastically over exaggerated understanding of how good he is, the kid isn't bad and he's pretty funny to hang out with in mumble and he eats boxes of kit-kats...
his playstyle would only work in pugs. a team with an organized flank will just destroy him since all he does is +fwd.
(This is my third time posting on this thread). Toaster if you want people to take you seriously and actually have tryouts, this is what i and 99% of the other tf.tv community advises you to do.
1. Stop bumping your thread every 6 hours.once every two days is probably what i would recommend, but if you are on the front page, then don't bump this thread.
2. Stop aliasing as invite players. if you want people to respect you, you would make a name for yourself like all good players in tf2 have done. stop trying to take their name that just makes you look incapable of making a good name for yourself.
3. Stop being a nuisance. all you do is add up in pugs and beg to be picked.
4. Stop asking why people don't like you. people have told you point blank what you need to do and fix, and it hasn't gotten through your thick skull.
5. don't advertise your thread, its just going to get trolled. plus people are going to dislike you and minus frag your thread.
I really don't know if you are ever going to mature and realize what you are doing wrong, even after i and many other people have told you what you have to fix. I've pretty much given up on helping your 5 year old maturity level, and if you seriously haven't been able to tell why people don't like you and are minus fragging your thread, i hope this clears it up for you.

Pretty much toaster in a nutshell, arrogant, and won't accept his problems.
Unless you are willing to help him like many others have tried, and have the patience of a saint as a team leader, i wouldn't say it is worth your time to pick him up.
Tstr: why
Tstr: did you have

ive pugged with him, hasnt changed =/ srry toaster
Finally got the experience of him invading rather obscure pugs I take part in
Arrogant
Kept mentioning how "I played in open playoffs okay I'm good"
Kept bragging that "I can captain in pug.na"
Really didn't shine at all in an environment of people that are low open

played with him last night, easily held his own against mid-open opponents
I would suggest that you play with toaster if you're a solid open team looking for a scout, because quite frankly, he's good. I get that his personality isn't for everyone, but people don't seem to realize that most of what he says is facetious/joking. I'm not sure why everyone assumes that he's serious about the things he says, if it's the tone of his voice or what, but he doesn't actually think he's high-IM/Invite, he's not acting like he's better than you because he can captain in pug.na, or whatever. Way too many people go into situations with him assuming he's gonna be arrogant or an asshole because he's got that reputation, and the moment he makes a joke they assume that he's being an idiot without even listening to the context. PUGs aren't serious, people. Everyone makes jokes and everyone shittalks a little bit. It's part of the game. There's no need to crucify toaster for doing the same thing everyone else does just because you heard he's insufferable.
Play with the guy. He's actually good at this game, and if you were to give him more than a cursory glance, you'd see that he's not even that hard to get along with.

At first I was very apprehensive about posting in a toaster looking thread, as he's burned me many a time before, but I decided that not talking about it would only make it worse.
Thing is, Toaster did something very emotionally painful and disturbing to me.
I'll try and keep my story as accurate and unbiased as possible, but it's very hard to keep myself from screaming through these tears that wet my face whenever I see the dreaded RaCeCaR message flashing in my IRC client. Just the mere sight of his vowel-less name joining a server triggers the flashbacks.
I'll back up to last night.
A few good friends of mine were gearing up for a night on the virtual town; Inventories stuffed with hats and various unlocks we'd crafted while pre-gaming. We decided that it was time to find a skirmish, one of those silly pick up group types where everyone messes around on an unfamiliar class and has a great time. After long deliberation we decided on Toaster's team, as they were the only people looking. That was my first mistake.
After we'd all saddled ourselves up into the server and proceeded to ready, they simply sat in there with only 5 players. They just stared at us as we waited patiently for their sixth. In particular I'd noticed Toaster couldn't keep his eyes off me... I'd wrongly assumed this to simply be a psyche out attempt to maybe make themselves more liable to win, but moments later I was to learn it was something much more predatory...
It was the first round. Everyone was pumped up and looking forward to a great mid fight. I felt uneasy, almost as if I'd missed something before the round started. Half-way to mid it began to sunk in. I was playing pyro.
Mind you, I do enjoy to play utility classes but on a first round I figured that they might take it the wrong way. Once we got to mid it happened. First thing I do is detonator their demoman, then the scouts, then the combo. Within mere seconds 4 people had disconnected. I was alone running towards there forward. It was there that Toaster confronted me, screaming "Tstr: you're fucking bad".
I was devastated. Never before had anyone been so callous to my emotions or class choice. I'd always been told by friends that I was different for being attracted to pyro, but no one had ever had the guts or prejudice to do something like call me bad, or leave the scrim.
I was stunned and within moments it had all ended. I went over it so many times in my mind I could even tell you what Toasters breath smelled like (burnt toast) and reiterate every step I took before the game started, like it was choreographed.
That morning I woke up shaking. I stumbled down into the kitchen and stared at my reflection in the toaster. Who was I? Was I going to continue living this pyro lifestyle or should I just be a "normal" sixes player? Instead of continuing to delude myself I decided to take a stand against people like Toaster. People who couldn't understand me and were simply afraid of what I had the potential, no, the RIGHT to do.
Utility and offclasses happen. Get fucking used to it.
Verdict:
This is what I was wearing when it happened.

ToasterHey guys. I am looking for a open team. I am very dedicated and willing to improve. I would like a playoff worthy team for this next season. I have a lot of free time. I can scrim 8:30-11:00 est. My biggest flaw is my game sense, I am hoping with a good team I can become a smarter player. If you are interested you can add me here http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198079390687/ Thank you in advanced.

talks a lot but if he improved on his attitude and game sense he'd hold his ground in like mid open i guess.
Toaster has changed a lot imo. From his first post to this he's improved a lot. Hanging out with him almost everyday isn't awful. He's actually good at dming and needs work on his gamesense. Solid pick up.
Reading this... you seem like an incompetent 8 year old. Possibly a 12 or 13 year old, who tries to act as if he was say... 17, but is really acting like a 8 year old. So do us a favor, and stop bumping your thread because if you're going to keep this type of attitude up, hardly ANYONE will bother to even pick you up.
I'll just restate what others have been saying, clean up your act first because every single time you post anything, you get a shitfest of minus frags, which I wouldn't blame.
Also,
ToasterFor your information I do not get fat kidded in pug.na go check my stats nerd l8r.
Yup, real mature.
