Hey I'm in the market for a new mouse, right now I'm using the EC1 EVO and while I like it a lot I'm not 100% comfortable with it. The FK has a \ / grip, where the EC1 has a / \ gripping style. I have medium-largish hands and use a fingertip grip so I feel like the \ / style would be more comfortable for me.
Does anyone use this mouse? What are your thoughts on it, would it be good for fingertip grippers?

I'm using one right now and it works for fingertip and palm grip, although I probably have smaller hands.

also, on a side note it would be very hard to have comfort on your ring finger. i have medium/small hands and it took me about 2 days just to feel find a comfortable place to put my ring finger/get used to the small mouse

I have a FK and a G400 and I can honestly say I prefer the G400 but the FK is a great little mouse and I love that it doesn't require drivers, I'd say try it out before you buy. it's great for claw grip but not so much palm.

Better than my DeathAdder I can tell you that.

AM looks good and feels great. Unless Zowie are a bunch of horrible liars and the FK is somehow magically worse instead of better I'm sure its a lovely mouse.

I just bought it not that long ago, definitely smaller then my last mouse which was a steelseries sensi but I still really like it. It's comfortable even for my bigger hands. The dpi switch is nice if you don't like messing with software. It's a simple mouse that works great.
I would recommend it.

I have one, used it for about two days. It's a nice mouse, but it's too small for my hands. If anyone is interested in buying it, add me to steam.

mine just arrived in the mail, only mouse i've ever bought to come with replacement mats. no drivers is pretty nice as well if you ever plan to use steamos/linux and your current mouse only has windows -specific driver software

Amazing. I swapped to it from a 2012 Deathadder.
The sensor is much better and since I claw grip most of the time, it is perfect for me.
If your mouse grip is something that fits a smaller mouse (like claw grip), I would really say there is nothing better. It also is so smooth in terms of on the actual mousepad.

I really like the Zowie FK; I've never used any other of the more common mice so I've got no idea how it compares. That said, I find it comfortable and it tracks very well.

I replaced my G400 with an FK and though I definitely prefer it, I kind of regret not getting an EC. If you're right handed and you don't know what to get, an EC is your best bet just because they're really versatile (palm/claw/fingertip, lots of grips feel comfortable) vs FK (really comfortable but only when using a certain claw grip). However any Zowie mouse will certainly have build quality head and shoulders above the rest; and the FK regardless is a great mouse. The tracking is flawless, obviously, and liftoff good if you lift your mouse a lot. The new EC eVo CLs look really cool too, the rubberised coating on the FK is delicious so it looks to be the best of both worlds. Also great quality mouse feet, really smooth.

I would have to say cookye became worse because he stopped playing.
FK is amazing if you claw grip and like pretty light mice, it felt a bit awkward when I switched from my EC1 due to the weight difference.

I heard a lot (some? a few?) of the EC's have problems with scroll wheel.
G400 often has cord problems and its kinda heavy which I don't like (I have no idea why u would want a mouse to be heavy but each to his own?)
I would recommend the FK. Sensor feels pretty good. It could be more comfortable for me, cause I have huge hands & dick, but it's not a problem really.

It's great. I was recommended to buy it when mine broke, and I'd definitely say it's worth the buy. Never really looked into the other Zowie mice (AM, EC etc) but I found that the Zowie FK felts nice in my hand, had the right amount of buttons for me, and I liked its look

I just got the FK about a week ago and it has been a huge change from the g9 I had been using for the passed few years. It is definitely much smaller and trying to use a palm grip results in dragging my thumb. The biggest learning curve is making sure my thumb and pinkie are bent inwards so they don't drag. This is a great and comfortable claw grip mouse and my aim has definitely improved over what it was with my g9. It has just been very unforgiving if I ever fall out of claw for whatever reason. Other than that I love this mouse. I haven't hit a button I didn't mean to, and the scroll wheel is very precise (to the point that when my keyboard was fucking up I used to switch weapons and it worked pretty well). Oh, and other thing that takes some getting used to is the lift off distance. Basically it will only move the cursor if it is touching the mouse pad, which is great but I have fucked up a few times for not compensating properly. That's just a matter of feel I'm sure anyone would pickup over time.
*I may have clicked too hard at some point and now the left click sometimes squeaks a little on the way up. So now I have a mouse that squeaks.

you didn't click too hard some fk just squeak but they stop real quick, took like one day for mine to start squeaking and then another three for it to go away again.

I know this thread is about the fk but I would rather ask here than open another thread... Thoughts on the EC eVo (CL)?
