Was just rewatching the jumping vods for about the 6th time, got me thinking. What about doing something a little special for the jump segments this time? You might see in the community jump vids those really theatrical freestyle jumps (mostly on jump_trix) involving things like engi and pyro. What would people think about composing some jumps like that and performing them live?

a lot of those jumps take a million tries before you actually get them, unless people want to watch a stream of people attempting and failing a jump for an hour

what about for a jump event, they do a kind of horse game mode, where someone does a jump, then everyone else has to do it or get a letter

The jump guys(HBC, exco, bshear) did a FANTASTIC job of planning/organizing the jump event. I asked them to participate and they produced a really nice hour(which is why we extended it to a 2nd hour.) Ideas like this are things I will keep in mind and relay to them but I'd rather give them time constraints and let them go wild with it.

He is a very active surfer in CS:S. If I can get him and his buddies to surf/commentate during the event that would be fantastic. Of course we'd love to have Raiin and Mike as well. If we can organize it each player could get a few maps while the others commentate on it.

It was funny, but if you really wanted to show some cool stuff in dodgeball, you can ask the guys down on Dodge iT and see if the can grab some of their top players like Scorp, opm, BON, and some other guys. The reflex and other stuff that I've seen (and done) are pretty amazing. Just ask some of the guys on the Dodge iT server.

Yeah, IP for server: 74.91.121.21:27015 I played it a lot and it was pretty fun. By my peak of playing I was around rank 15 of a couple thousands so I was really into it.
