"Active" usually means they have announcements for pugs more recently than june 8th or not at all
The only active pug group i know of is power pugs, but they spam announcements, so just get on the mumble they use randomly and check if people are in there. I know there are a few more pug groups that are active but I have no idea if they have a group page, shootist has pugs in his mumble sometimes.

I think Scorpio quit TF2 and Newbie Mix is more important. If they're moved to a day and time that's not Friday or Saturday night, it might work.
I wouldn't mind getting it started again. I think Saturday/Sunday evenings would be the best now.
Edit: Actually, Power Pugs might have a night dedicated to new maps.
