for what it's worth, he was friends with a lot of people here before the phisher removed them all, and lot of people got the spam messages.
a thread was probably overkill but it's not like there's limited space on tf.tv

someone added me, said their friend wanted to trade with me, sent the link, and it told me to log in. I have been having issues daily where I need to re login in. I didnt see it as a bad thing, until it said to reset password, i got the code, it didnt work, and all of the sudden i got the message that I was logged in elsewhere. thats when I became concerned and contacted steam support. and i have been removing anyone he adds because I still have steam access in chrome.

no, i havnt been phished before. I have found people, and reported them, but never actually been phished.
The problem here, was that over the past week, Steam has been making me log in again and again and again, even if I press the "remember me" button. So, when I had to log in again, I didn't tkae it suspiciously. :( So far the guy has failed and not taken anything yet... :)

nope. I have been counter trolling him by removing anyone he adds via chrome, since I still have steam access there. I also can monitor chats from the online chat feature. So until steam responds, anyone wanna play minecraft?
EDIT: I have been restricted from the steam market by Steam Support, not sure if this is in response to the hijack, or to the fact that apparently now need to put in tax info. either way, i guess its good
