Seeing as how AGDQ 2014 is coming up in about 6 days, I thought I would spread the hype!

Speed Demos Archive, the home to video game speed runs, is proud to present the fourth annual speed running marathon: Awesome Games Done Quick 2014. It is a 7-day online event (from January 5th-11th) to raise money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, streamed live for you to watch!

What games are you guys hype to see? I'm personally hyped for Super Monkey Ball 2, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Rising, Super Meat Boy, Mirror's Edge, Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker HD, Megaman X, Half Life, and Half Life 2.
My hype list is a bit too long.

I always love AGDQ but I won't be around too much to watch it live but I can't wait to watch the VODs. I still think my favorite to watch is Super Meat Boy.

I'm a little disappointed that they're doing two really dumb Tony Hawk games, and NOT THPS1 or THPS2.

dashnerHad a lot of fun watching this last year. My favourite was watching Cosmo doing Wind Waker, glad he's back to do it again.
It's HD which is actually a relatively different run, due to glitch patching. You wouldn't think it was that different based on the record times (I think HD is actually shorter at WR right now, ZSR is down so I can't confirm) or think it was longer based on patched storage and stuff but Swift Sail and shortened Triforce make up for it. Should be a fun run to watch.
I'm pretty excited for the TAS block, TMR got a visa so he's going to run Darkwing Duck and Battletoads, Trihex is finally doing a marathon run of Yoshi's Island, Meatboy run, AwfulGDQ, really too many to list

Kinda sad that the hl2 run is going to be shit, the runners pb is like 2:20 ish and the wr is 1:52 atm. Either way good run, also the bl2 run should be good and the runners of it have some shenanigans planned from what I hear.

There's some pretty amazing games going on. Super Monkey Ball 2 will be a close race between 3 amazing runners, Banjo-Kazooie is being played by the best BK player, Streemerz is being raced between the 2 guys competing for the WR. The Super Star Wars run will destroy your childhood for those of you who played it as a kid. Super Mario World No Cape No Star World race between 2 of the best runners. Prayerwarriors and Typing of the Dead by Peaches will be hilarious. The DKC Block is gonna be crazy, and I can't go without hyping the Secret of Mana co-op run. Next week is gonna be insane.
