Twitch unwatchable for anyone else?

It takes longer than it should to load a stream and now it usually freezes and gives me a loading gif in less than a minute. It does this repeatedly. This has been happening since AGDQ happened.

Yeah same. It buffers and then it will fast forward like 10 seconds and skip around. Definitely makes it hard to enjoy streams.

happens to me as well, I can stream in full quality (720p 60fps 3k bitrate) but streams are unwatchable for me. 100 down 30 up.

Twitch changed how they provided video service about a month ago, this has been happening ever since for a lot of users. That and most stream delays are at best 20 seconds if not more.

it randomly happens to me I can watch 1080p streams one minute then it buffers constantly on 480p streams

Yea its twitch, i had shit internet with like 6 down, and could watch on source/high, now i have 60 down and it still laggs on source/high lol

Since the very last update including new servers in Prague I haven't experienced a single lag. There is this annoying issue when the video just skips some part, but it doesn't happen too often I guess. I live pretty much next to their servers so that might be it.

I had the same problem. I even read their amazing forums and tried this "reddit fix". Eventually I contacted their support telling them I've done everything I could. Next few days every stream stopped stuttering and worked fine.
