I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. I remember when I played pugged all the time having invite players messing around my team was one of the highlights of the mix experience

I don't mean to use rude words but some of the people captaining are complete idiots, and that's why you see unbalanced teams. You can still have balanced teams even if there is a large skill discrepancy between players in the game.

Sometimes a pugs don't start until like 10pm in pugna so you can't blame people for playing in mix.

Moy, it'd be ok if they weren't playing their mains. It just becomes stupid when they go spy, sniper, pyro, etc because that's the only way it will be "fair".

i don't know why you're complaining, i remember when i first got into comp....playing ammomod against jaeger and all the regulars was the best. if you wanna get better you need a challenge...also everyone pretty much summed it up pug na isn't active till really late at night

Yesterday I was captaining, and the other captain made a medic first pick then picked a demo right after i picked mine. We had like 5 great picks and he went and picked some random medic. Just goes to show that half the captains in mix are crap.

mixnahl banned plat players from taking part and the overall quality of games suffered significantly. trust me, you're better off having better players, even if you're against them, it makes for better games.

Playing with/against better players is a good way to improve. But for most enjoyment and probably a better learning experience it would be better if the teams were even.

Sorry but back when I started to play, there was only open and invite in esea. How do you think I felt being a new player, playing against basically invite teams sometimes. Only way to get better is by playing against people better than you. You could also just not pug if you ddon't like playing against people better than you, even if it is mixs

christ god forbid we let the new players have FUN in pugs instead of making them cannon fodder for people who've been playing the game for longer than new players have been alive.

Having Lauren on medic is a sure-fire way of wanting to kill yourself, so being on the other team is probably more fun anyway

lauren used to be on my shit list too, she would single-handedly ruin pugs and make me question humanity. but she's actually gotten much better, i guess b4nny is starting to rub off on her. goes to show; the more you do it the better you get.
