Any thoughts on map-pool? I'd like to keep it fairly simple with maps that should be familiar to most players, but this also seems like a good opportunity to stress test Sunshine.

you guys should at least pug intermodel/warmerfront/airfield! maybe you guys could play prophunt wasted on the maps during dead time if nothing else.

I would shy away from doing Sunshine until maybe later in the tournament, because by that time, most of the teams who have no idea what they are doing will be eliminated by then. That's if we want Sunshine at all. I've never seen the map but I'm not opposed to trying it out.

I finally got a ticket. Planning to drive from Boston--if anyone through that direction doesn't have a ride yet I can try to pick ya up.

Disengage had talked to me about making a team but we never really acted on it. No idea what tagg was doing.

I wish I could go but unfortunately I would need to buy a plane ticket and I was deciding whether or not I was going to go and waited to long and probably can't go now. If I do not end up making it to this LAN (which is very likely) I will make it to the next big east coast LAN.

Outside chance here, but does anyone have a camera and a tripod they could bring for the eXtv crew to use for our cast production? We have a webcam and I'm bringing my green screen setup, but a real camera would be preferred over a webcam.

Also,I believe everyone should be able to start registering teams on http://intranet.fites.net/tournaments.php?id=29 We are gonna move ahead with the Season15 ESEA whitelist (was tempted to go w/ CEVO's more up to date list, but I think allowing QF would hurt the newer players more than help them). Barring a final discussion with Shoctor regarding our timeframe for the tournament, I think we're leaning towards a single elim tourney with every round being bo3 30 min maps. Always love to hear opinions.

We're getting pretty stoked bout this event. Gonna be amazing.

I talked to eXtine about this already, I'll be bringing my video camera that'd I'd be happy to let you guys use. Its a canon HF G20. It's not DSLR but I think it would work.
