We still have 5 weeks to go in the regular season and this season is already heating up.
The second week started with the death of Coringa & Planeta after losing against SqS, ending their goal of facing MONSTER at the same level. Due to c&p dropping out, their pocket Unlead will be playing for the Squishers and their medic Jubileu joins Welcome to Reality as a backup.
The favorite house of adult entertainment of the whole community - Casarão - has been so motivated this week that it will be earning its own paragraph with its own subtitle.

First of all, we had the brief quitting and return of the most handsome pocket in Brazil doug (who happens to be yours truly) due to some internal issues, and then New BreeD left after (spoilers) losing Granary against United Six and joined the Central team Insane Reflex. After said loss, the medic Nuffle also left what seemed to be a sinking ship. To keep the team alive, Biasz will be starting and, at first, DanielKiller was going to be called up to play at least the official matches. But everything changed with the most unexpected sign up of the season. Bdonski, the rising Demoman for Exertus eSports in both ESEA-I and CEVO-M and also third place in Season 15 of ESEA-I LAN will be playing as scout for CSR. (EDITOR NOTE: Previous astute readers will note that Bdonski also played Scout in Invite for Solace eSports in Season 14, and was going to start scout on Lost in Translation in Season 15 before switching to Demoman.) Alongside Bdonski, mahh (who is in Canada for the next five months) will make her comeback to the South-American scene playing with high ping as a backup scout for the Big House (which is Casarão in English. See! You are already learning Portuguese with those articles!).
Due to server issues, Casarão and United Six had to reschedule the second map in the round, which made it possible for them to debut Bdonski. CSR almost managed to get the win with the new roster, but they lost 3-4 on Viaduct. The team is already stronger with the help of Bdonski and they still have a lot of time to get up and stay alive in the battle for the playoffs spots.
Getting back to the League in general, we had problems again with the servers. This time, the datacenter which is used by most server companies suffered a DDoS attack, delaying the second map of CSR vs. u6 (which has been played as of writing) and the whole match between SqS vs. eG (second map to be played as of writing).
Results
Welcome to Reality (w2r) 0-2 MONSTER (MONSTER) – cpgranary: w2r 1-6 MONSTER & kothproviaductrc4: w2r 3-4 MONSTER
In Granary the result wasn't far from expected, but in Viaduct MONSTER had to work to get away of the upset, having to play with connection problems of Powah and dede and missing the starting demoman Tyger until the last round of the match.
Casarão (CSR) 0-2 United Six (u6) – cpgranary: CSR 1-6 u6 (Logs & SourceTV) & kothproviaductrc4: CSR 3-4 u6 (Logs & SourceTV)
Granary started with the impression that it was going to be a really close game, but after Casarão scored the first point, u6 dominated the rest of the match. Coming with a completely different line-up in Viaduct, CSR showed up much stronger, getting the 2 point lead (3-1), led by Bdonski (50/20/37 314 DPM 6 medpicks), Wolf (45/12/33 423 DPM) and Andre (43/14/19 303 DPM), but it wasn't enough to stop Orus *(50/23/36 326 DPM) and u6, who managed to get themselves together and comeback.
Evolution Gaming (eG) 1-0 Squishers e-Sports (SqS) – kothproviaduct_rc4: eG 4-1 SqS (Logs)
In the second round SqS looked weaker than in the first week; the absence of the scout hii might be one of the causes. eG had no problem in Viaduct and got away with an easy 4-1, with highlights to the scout nosf (38/19/15 356 DPM) and demoman raduKz (40/15/13 439 DPM).

Power Rankings
1. Evolution Gaming (eG) – 3-0
Last week rank: 2, Last round: 1-0, Streak: 3W, Next match: vs. k6
Evolution Gaming was much more convincing than MONSTER this week, winning with no problems against one of the teams that might be fighting until the end for the third spot in the playoffs. In the next week they will face the Argentinians Koala 6, one of the most expected matches in the season.
2. MONSTER (MONSTER) – 4-0
Last week rank: 1, Last round: 2-0, Streak: 4W, Next match: vs. u6
The team known as the best in the league is starting to face some obstacles. Connection issues are one of the causes of that, but the lack of scrimming might cause them some upsets.
3. United Six (u6) – 3-1
Last week rank: 4, Last round: 2-0, Streak: 3W, Next match: vs. MONSTER
The retirees almost lost one map against the reformed Casarão, but they kept strong and came out with the W with a comeback. The team maintain the level they played in the first round and they can still give us a lot to talk about during the regular season. In the next round they will face MONSTER looking to break their winning streak of 9 maps in official matches.
4. Koala 6 (k6) – 3-1
Last week rank: 5, Last round: 2-0, Streak: 2W, Next match: vs. eG
The hermanos didn't have a match to play this week, because they were going to face Coringa & Planeta. There isn't too much to talk about a team that didn't play, but after the match in the first week against u6, we can't move them in the ranking yet. Next week they will play against Evolution Gaming, in what is looking like to be one of the best matches in the season.
5. Squishers e-Sports (SqS) – 2-1
Last week rank: 3, Last round: 0-1, Streak: 1L, Next match: vs. w2r
After a great opening in the season, the Squishers didn't play so well against eG, losing the only map they played 4-1. The next round they will play against Welcome to Reality and the result can go both sides.
6. Casarão (CSR) – 0-4
Last week rank: 8, Last round: 0-2, Streak: 4L, Next match: vs. c&p
Looking at the results, ranking CSR and w2r became a little hard, but with the new acquisition of Bdonski for Casarão, the team is showing already some unexpected results in the match against u6 and in scrims. In the next week CSR takes 2W for free, because they would have played c&p.
7. Welcome to Reality (w2r) – 0-4
Last week rank: 7, Last round: 0-2, Streak: 4L, Next match: vs. SqS
Welcome to Reality scared MONSTER due to its connection issues, but it wasn't enough to get the upset. In the next week they will have another chance to get their first win playing against the Squishers.
8. Coringa & Planeta (c&p) – 0-4
Last week rank: 6, Last round: 0-2, Streak: 4L, Next match: vs. CSR
Bye Bye Birdies.
Next round we will see Viaduct again, alongside Gullywash.
See you next week.
