Performance wise pretty much everybody is the same, although I've heard EO reality is really bad in the usa. I've also had problems with gameservers.com not auto-updating.

If you're looking for the absolute cheapest servers, I believe that's still Thief at Scum.tf.

I use scum.tf, his servers are reliable, and Thief is quite available for assistance if necessary. The mumble that comes with it is pretty nice too, considering he's the cheapest around. All in all, good experience, been with him for at least 6 months now.

tragicservers best customer service

I've had a gameservers.com server for years and for a long time it was fine but at some point it started adding on 15-35 extra ping for most people for no good reason. I also had some issues with update taking a real long time and stuff. I've since been with tragicservers and overall I'm quite happy and it's an improvement. It's a shame that CEVO uses gameservers so that continues to be a thing in my life...

I second this. If you also are going to upgrade (ie. Add more slots to server or get a bigger mumble, etc) Tragic is pretty helpful with that and makes the process smooth.

Had a lot of problems with gameservers.com in the past. Moved to tragic a month or two ago and they have been brilliant so far, can't recommend them enough!

This is true, in fact, when I played on a team with him we would open a ticket to tell him that we have a match in 10 minutes.

I would strongly advise against multiplay. They put all the STVs on the same machine in a shared folder that can be viewed or deleted by anyone on the machine.

I have since switched to NFO, which works well.

I'm 99% sure that tragic buys his server boxes off NFo and just resells at a discounted price. It's a win win for the community buying and for himself. They're both basically the same thing.

Tragic has amazing customer service and is really reliable.
Owned multiple servers from him for multiple months in the past, really good server provider from my experience.

gonna hop on the tragicservers bandwagon, he personally added me when my thick skull forgot to pay an invoice and then didn't suspend my server for a few days until i payed it. 10/10 would rent again.
