We had issues a few weeks this season I submitted a ticket. Shooter is aware of the issues and they're looking for fixes. I don't know why the Illinois servers have been yielding such high pings, also it seems when people ready up the servers randomly crash. Could be an error in the client coding. Nonetheless its been a little crazy this season. Virginia has been perfect though as far as servers go, i'd switch there if you're having issues with Illinois.

yeah we had a server crash on rollout when it was tied 1-1, had to replay the entire thing and ended up losing 5-0. Judging by how hard they beat us the second go round we would've lost either way, but we still got gypped out of a round we took perfectly legitimately. Doesn't really matter, but it was still pretty offputting

Please open a ticket, and include a traceroute for the ping issue.

Regarding this, ESEA has been reviewing it internally, and we believe we found the problem. It was only happening to a select number of servers, and not all TF2 servers (thus why you saying VA was fine). Again, anything like this must be logged (via ticket), so it helps the developers find the issue with real info, instead of hearsay, and no actual information. :)

Did you find issues predominantly in Texas servers? We had three different Texas servers crash on us before tri got us moved to Illinois and the problems resolved.

So are these servers actually ESEA-owned servers or are they rented from somewhere?
