If you're going to do an engi frag movie, look at "From Engi with Love" by sigafoo. It focuses almost entirely on shotgun aim, not abusing stupidly overpowered unlocks.

No, that's exactly what I did not want to do. Otherwise I would have only used my Lakeside/Croissant/Gully shotgun streaks and it would have been it, ja-well-no-fine.
I wanted show other aspects of the class than simply plat dm. Keeping your gun up against all odds, or coming up with unorthodox last minute sentry placements to help blunt entire advances, and quick wits (-> body blocking that Soldier who was a bout to murder my capping teammates on Steel) are equally valuable skills that each engie should be proud of mastering. Otherwise, I would simply play Scout.
You can't please everybody, and I chose not to please the shotgunny ones this times.
