Thanks for putting my HUD up there, omni! I feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

What is so different about mixhud? it has a slightly different menu compared to the garm3nhud rb.... I haven't seen anything crazy different about it... shouldn't some credit be given to garm3n?
This is amazing but I'm just thinking it doesn't get much of the HUD across, you need to either download the HUD to try it or already have a good idea what the HUD's like to have any opinion of them, which sort of defeats the purpose of the site. It's convenient and looks fancy, but one image just isn't enough IMO.
Just a loose concept (probably could add some arrows to scroll through more images) but maybe try out something like this?

You could just click on screenshots to get to the HUD screenshots page
The screenshots pages are pretty inconsistent though (rayshud even links to the thread here because there's no imgur for it or anything), and I mean, if you can put them all on the same page, why not?
This reminds me of the tf2 plugin gallery that four made. It would be super awesome to be able to merge both projects together, especially his sppi protocol that allows the plugins(including huds) to be installed directly without having drag the files into the custom folder. Too bad four has been offline for ard a month now due to no internet.

Along with your other feedback, I do appreciate all of it. However, with this, I currently run the site by myself and before I implement any of it, I have to work on the back end. So right now, the least of my concerns is uploading albums upon albums of screenshots to my server when they can be found elsewhere. Also, I made the site as an easy place to find the HUDs, rather than people having to hunt the googles and the yahoos.
Also, pretty much all information is submitted by members of the community. So, whereas it would be nicer that Rays had all his screenshots in an imgur album, they're not, and I'm not going to make an album for him just for the benefit of the site.
The site is a small baseline to find more information on HUDs currently. I don't want to be the be-all-end-all website where I end up hosting everybody's files and what not. Not yet, anyway.
Sorry if this came out as rude, but I think some people are thinking too ambitiously of this website at the moment.

I know, I know. I'm just saying, it's got potential, it's still being worked on, so why can't it go a little further? Keeping it at one image just seems a little bit arbitrary, when it'd benefit quite a bit from some more.
If I wasn't so shit at html/javascript I'd offer to make it for you, but I've forgotten how to do even the basics with them.

I'd love to help with this project, it's definitely better than the website I threw together. I just need to get internet again. It's been so long :<

Hey omni.
Could you add the flathud logo (like you did with notohud / hudas) to the preview image for flathud?
Thanks in advance. (it's banner size so you might have to do some wizardry to make it fit)

Added a few HUDs that have been sat in submission for a few days.
I'd like to get some clear feedback on what you guys think of the site, and what kind of things you'd like to see. I'd also like to see your stance on content control, ideas you may have for the site and basically anything else. I'd like them in a Personal Message here on TFTV, or you can email me at deflorate(at)hotmail.co.uk with your feedback. I'm planning on working with some others in the community to see how far I can stretch out some ideas and get some better functionality going.
Also, if you have any problems with your HUD being on the site or if the incorrect information being relayed on the site, let me know immediately. As everything is submitted by other people in the community, incorrect information can come through and can come past me if I'm being dumb as shit.

Done.

Thanks man. I'll be removing any unsupported, abandoned or incredibly outdated HUDs completely if and when they are brought to my attention.

Omni and I, are working on something central for the HUDS, basically converting all my work into a bootstrap theme, so if people want more info on the HUD, it can be accessed directly from the front page.
I have a basic template up. Ideas on what should be added etc... would be welcome, more information on the HUD's the better!
Ignore my spelling errors please :D
Test Template = [http://tunnelsnakes.github.io/huds.tf/]
Most of this is text filler and is always subject to change.

loving that template tstm. would that be the page that comes up when someone clicks on one of the huds?
btw omni, I have a small request. Can you change my name to voloder (lowercase v) on the tftv hud?

Yes it would, just yea... if you want to find out more on the HUD itself.

Updated the site again, just a small design thing. If you're not seeing it, hard refresh.
Also added a few guidelines/rules about submitting HUDs, in which I must ask that all new submissions and existing HUDs on site will require Github, Google Code, Sourceforge or anything that can be updated without having to change the URL. I won't be accepting any HUDs that have direct/static download pages from now on.
I'll try and get in contact with everyone who this applies to. In the mean time, enjoy the small change in design and expect more from the site fairly soon.

Just a thought. Maybe could make it in order of most DL'd?
That way people looking for a new HUD can see the most popular and then try it out
Also the most popular/DL'd will want to be found alot (no shit) and will make it easier if closer to the start. This isn't really an issue now, but when there is alot of HUDs on there, may make it better
Edited Grammer. (Dont post shit at 4am when you cant sleep)

There is literally no way I can pull download data at the moment, so that's a no-go. Probably won't be viable for a long time, especially as we're using github (and will probably always be using github), which doesn't display download information.

Yes, the fact that github doesn't display download info (without going through a VERY lengthy process involving the git client) is really annoying. But, there's no way to get around it :(
Closest we have are the traffic graphs (which are only available to the owner of the repo).

I'm not sure if traffic graphs are only seen by the owner of the repo or that any contributor can see them; in the latter case, we could have a github account that is added as a contributor to each hud that's on the site that can pull the view statistics (and unique views if possible) and use them to rank it on the site.
