I get an average of 5-15 loss to every server constantly now

these are my net settings, does anyone have any advice on how to fix my issue

i restart my modem every day and pray to jesus so plz dont say either of those

Lots of people get the exact same thing after the TF2 update, I'm pretty sure that the problem is with TF2 and not on your ISP's side.

i had this issue a long time ago try replacing your cables mine had been bent too much and was causing packet loss spikes

Do you mean replacing your ethernet cable? I get the same thing and I'm using a 3+ year old ethernet cable

I get 15+ loss to every server I play on now. I don't know what that actually means, but everything is super warpy, and damage numbers/hits register about 3/4 a second late. Shit is lame.

I am having the same issue with all chicago-based tragicservers

try e-mailing them if you're sure that it isn't your ISP

they basically told me they couldn't do anything but at least it can help you narrow down what's causing it

I had our upstream look into this and it appears to be on Verizon's end. Unfortunately, nothing we can do on our end.

Good luck explaining some minimum wage teenager what is packet loss and why it's bad.

ISPs support centers, hell, even most technicians have no fkin clue how to deal with this kind of specific stuff unless its some higher up specialist. Also most of the time its the ISP infrastructure and network just generally being shitty.

i talked to nfo and they got me headed in the right direction to fix it, theyll say its an issue with att overflow but it was one of their subserver guys. just talk 2 them

Just because you get good routing to the mumble server doesn't necessarily mean you're getting good routing to the tf2 servers and since really only 1 or 2 companies sell tf2 servers anymore there is a good chance you're getting routing issues. Call your isp.

Only started like two days ago but lots of random warps etc get annoying fast
I was hoping it's the isp but considering our horrible telecom standard it probably won't be fixed for months/years
