The only thing I'm wary about is the quality of instructors given that this is essentially a paid service. One accepted instructor listed their skill set as being "advanced" and put their qualifications down as having completed beef and adventure.

I'd ask the jumpers to come teach, but I'm pretty sure they all have autism so nobody would know what's going on.

yankee : For the moment all the teachers provide classes for free. Once the website is online, it will be the feedback of their students which will determine what they can ask as a reward (TF2 item).
This project isn't made for profits but to encourage the jump community, and everything is thought so that people can't use the class system to make profits.

That's good to know. I've got nothing against someone who's completed beef or adventure teaching. Those maps, while easy, require a lot of skills that someone who's never jumped much before won't have. It was the paid portion that I was hesitant about. Overall this is a cool project. If I had more time I'd love to volunteer.

Seems like a cool idea, lots of really good jumpers already signed up to teach. I might make a jump or two for the map you guys are working on.

On a serious note, I personally think that jumping can only be taught to a certain extent. It's mostly practice that will make you better, not having someone telling you what to do. Of course, for basic things like a vert wallclimb or something, you can teach people, but past that, there isn't much you can really do to help someone.

Dealing with BuschmasterACR's great screenshot, I've met mosspi on TF2, his jump is OK and he already helped many jumpers on our servers. If this teacher doesn't seem legit to you, pick another.
We decided since the project is new to accept any teacher for the moment, before the website is online. This decision is questionable but that's mine.
In general, I really think you should grow up a little guys. Judging a guy on his age and his abilities to express himself on one post is just stupid. We aim to welcome anyone, pros and noobs, kids or older people, I don't mind, as long as they are respectful and learn/teach something.
Our class system will make students choose classes they are interested in, teachers will be free to accept or decline the class demand. If a teacher doesn't want to get kids as students, that's his choice, we respect that.
If you're not interested, pass through and let it go, thank you.

Cool idea even though I believe that the fun about jumping is discovering the possibilities by yourself. And if you need help, there are plenty of videos on youtube. Perfecting takes time. Nonetheless, good luck with this project!
