I mean you're always going to have to search for shit, no matter how good the store is. I've found things in

H&M
Urban Outfitters
As dagger said GAP and Old Navy can occasionally have nice stuff. GAP is really expensive now though.
Zara is amazing if you find one. I know Eaton Center has one.
Le Chateau occasionally.
Aldo and Call it Spring can have great looking shoes but some fall apart easy
Jack & Jones has pretty good stuff, only been a few times though
Bluenotes if you are feeling poor
Forever 21 if you are feeling goth and 12 years old
Roots will sometimes have something worth buying, sometimes expensive though
I saw the strip mall has a Levi's outlet, which is pretty lucky. Check that out if you aren't already.

Aside from that, you have to depend on local stores and I don't know much about the Toronto area. Waterloo has some cool stores downtown like The Loop, and a few others hidden away. Toronto might have some good thrift shops too.

And beyond that, you have to depend on ordering things online.
