scout looking for a high open/im team
I don't have a lot of organized 6s experience but my DM is decent and I'm interested in learning as much as I can. I think I'm a pretty relaxed player, I don't rage and can take criticism well.
I'm usually on for scrims 9-11 est later if needed.
hit me up

Played medic in a lobby with him and he asked for all the heals "because scout's the best class" and continued to act entitled the entire time.
Still top fragged by a lot even after I stopped healing him; dude is seriously good at clicking on things.
Fix the attitude and understanding of the game and he'll be off to a good start.

scout is the best class and most medics need to give them way more heals
my opinion of this guy just went up

I played with the guy when I was ringing the other day and he seemed solid. His DM seems around high open already and I see him around seymour a lot so I imagine seymour is helping him with his gamesense.
I'm not saying he's necessarily already IM, but he's sure closer to it than many of the threads that claim to be IM with no previous experience.

has really strong dm and is a chill dude. could definitely do well in high open.

Scrimmed on a team with Micah for a few weeks. I think his DM is his strength, but doesn't bring much else to the team. Doesn't comm enough / look to coordinate with his flank so I feel he basically fills a role and just takes orders (when he actively coordinates). I personally feel he needs a few seasons of experience before he's ready for IM, could go to high open with a team that just needs someone who clicks, but I would say he needs to work on gamesense a bit before even that would be a possibility.
I'd say good fit for a mid open team

1 season of open would do him good

Played with him in a tf2center, he's actually quite good. Not sure of his comms but mechanically he's IM. Also the person who mentioned him wanting heals isn't really making sense. Bad scouts don't come over for buffs. Good scouts do. He doesn't ask to be tanked he just wants to rotate his buffs which is what any good scout does. It was actually a pleasure to med for him in a tf2center seeing a scout with enough brains to know when to get buffs and play his role.
He needs to figure out if he wants to be a passive or aggressive scout at this point and then get his comms sorted. His dm is IM quality but dm will only get you so far. A low-mid IM team should definitely give him at least a shot to see what he's capable of. And as someone else mentioned Seymour was in the pug with us demoing. I think he was drunk though lol but if he's being mentored by him I don't see why he wouldn't continue improving. Good luck finding a team micah.

Also Rick there's always exceptions. Exceptions such as the one and only, TonySwan. Shame he stopped playing. Literally went from pug nobody to IM superstar to invite in a span of 2 seasons.

i dont think thats true at all i can remember people telling me about how good tony swan was like s8 and how he couldnt play because he worked overnight melting ice or some shit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBVYOV4SmWc
thats from like s8/s9 so people were definitely aware of his talent
this guy is ok at clicking on disorganized retards but hes not that good at killing soldiers who have their monitors on and if u sneak up on him on scout he will die pretty close to 100% of the time because hes one of those midrange strafe aimy type people
but im pretty sure he said hes looking for IM because he beat some guy who was low IM a few seasons ago in mge or a pug or something

it's all opportunistic though, if he's put in a situation with a good core of experienced guys who can mold him he has potential from what i saw playing with him. as far as comms and personality/team work synergy i don't know much about that. if he can listen and execute what he's being told he could get good real quick. not everyone has that coachability though. my 2 cents. worth a look at for an up and coming IM or high open team.
tony didnt actually play on teams though he'd just pug and learn, when he finally started with xensity he broke through and was arguably the best scout that season in IM. who knows how long micahs been snooping around studying gameplay for. btw mason are we still friends on steam?

Micah is a chill and down to earth person. I've been mentoring him for a couple of weeks now. He takes constructive criticism very well, and is always looking to improve. He has applied most of what I have told him to his gameplay and going over demos with him I can definitely see a huge improvement.
As Blink said previously, an upcoming high open/IM team should definitely consider giving Micah a tryout.
p.s. I was drinking and was too inebriated to realize your medi guns were named the opposite of what they actually were!

Had to do switch it around to keep the nerds at bay who go into spawn as spy to figure out which gun you're using in those situations.

Played with him in DM definitely high open/IM. Some people are just too scared to admit a nobody can be light years better than you.
