I played this when it first came out. How is it now? All the servers back then didn't enforce sv_pure and everyone mathacked to see stealth.

A lot of the core members of the community have stuck around throughout the years. I've been playing on and off since ~2009 and I still think it's a great game even though I haven't played in a while. There's a lot of groups that organize playtimes as well.

Game is so good. Its a shame it its popularity was only a little flash in the pan, I'd have loved to see it live on and evolve.

I didn't realize anyone actually played this game anymore. Even playing the mod 3-4 years ago there weren't many servers fully populated.

Well it just got added on steam so maybe it'll get a resurgence in players like fistful of frags did.

FanofAngelsTrying to figure out the maps is kinda weird, also I have no idea what the difference between the guns is. Theres a sniper but it does like 50 damage and i cant even tell if there are headshots. (I think there are?)

my friends and I got hard-coded out of the game for bunnyhopping as heavy and firing the semi-automatic guns too fast

yeah the community is like incredibly unfriendly to anyone who's remotely good at the game, like I said I wasn't just banned from servers I'm literally unable to play the entire game
I brought up a bug once where legshots were doing more damage than headshots, and I was countered with "in an android the crucial components might be anywhere on the body, it doesn't necessarily have to be in the head"
that's seriously how deluded and blind this community is
it's a pretty game with a nice soundtrack though
