mif you wipe on mid you deserve to lose the round i dont get where u get the idea that its ok to wipe on mid what the fuckMid is only 1 point on the map. The punishment for having a bad mid should be having the hold last with uber disadvantage. On other maps you actually get a slight chance at holding, but on granary it's next to none. On top of that, demomen can get from mid to last in <10 seconds and sticky spawn from a nonpunishable position.
mi enjoy playing granary on every class so whateverI enjoy the map too, but to say it's without flaws is stupid.

I don't love granary but I'm pretty sure wiping on mid and leaving like 5 players up (including medic) means you got fucking dumpstered. On pretty much every single map in the game demo can get from mid to last in a really short amount of time. Just go out the right spawn (from the spawners perspective) everyone stickies the right.

So your choices are now intermodal, logjam, gravelpit, or keep sunshine in.

If you pick intermodal I will think you're a little strange, it's really not that 6's friendly, and would be basically a 2nd granary in the rotation, except with more flaws.

If you pick logjam I will personally hunt you down. It's not ready for ESEA, it has too much potential to be put in as-is.

You can keep sunshine, or add Gpit back.

I can't speak for or against Sunshine, but in past seasons, there have barely been any custom maps that the majority enjoy and actually want to play. It really seems that people end up voting in new maps as a reason to vote out a map they don't want to play. It's understandable that over time, people want something new, but they should really make sure that it's something they want long term and not at that moment only because it's new.

NA people don't pug new maps. I've watched ETF2L doublemixes on logjam for about a month now and it's the best feedback I've ever gotten. If we could get occasional pugs from pug.na or something like that for new maps that would be absolutely outstanding. If you want fresh, new, good maps in your rotation you need to help us out a bit.

Scorpio used to host new map pugs on the weekends. He'd put together a zip file of 3-4 new map and we'd play a pug or two on each one every Friday and Saturday night. It was pretty fun and got mappers some feedback.

I don't see any harm in adding some new maps to pug rotations (tf2mix, pug.na), worst case scenario people can rtv to another map. That would seem easier than bringing back new map only pugs

no but seriously the only person in invite i know of who despises granary is clock. it's mostly open players raging because the team(s) they play come up with 1 mid strat and they cant figure it out and get raped repeatedly.
