i put a little crappy wedge in the place where the wheel plugs into the part that actually does the spinning and it solved my skipping problems 95%
I've used both the Abysssus and the DA.

my da 2013 has a loose scroll wheel after a couple months of usage, but I haven't seen any problems with the reverse wheel scrolling yet
my da 3.5g had issues with the mouse wheel skipping back and forwards. im not entire sure how i fixed it. just kinda tried moving the mouse wheel around and trying to blow air inside incase their was a hair or something in there.
Do you guys even bunnyhop?! How the hell does a scroll wheel stuff up that quickly o_O
All these kids having problems with their mouse, understand its got nothing to do with build quality, it has to do with you treating them like a moron or hitting them too hard when a guy frags your sorry ass.
Also g400 > shithadder, i used to have the shitadder and it was vastly inferior, so one day i grabbed it and smashed it on the floor, next day i got a g400 and have been happy ever since.

Then it was shit from the beggining but these guys that go through multiple of the same mouses, and they all MAGICALLY present the same problem, instead of blaming themselves they blame the "build quality".
Honestly the only thing shitty about the deathadder is that it was too easy to click, and eventually this got so annoying that i smashed it, since i couldn't even browse the internet.

why did you even post? this wasnt even helpful to the issue. in any case you sound like you have anger issues.
I don't think you give people enough credit especially since I know that alot of people who have this issue treat their mouse and other equipment just fine.

So you're going to just trust a motherfucker who has gone through multiple mouses having the same problem?
Its not my fault its the mouse's fault!
I call bulllshit wherever i see bullshit.

Had this problem, but I still had waranty, so they gave me a new one.
smileyyyyy if im not mistaken. I hear the cord on g400 was an issue.
now lets apply your logic. (which you must be trolling btw)
nah cant be the build quality of the product must be these darn kids mate.
its funny that you feel that it's going to be the owner of the mouses fault all the time.
I don't trust your advice because it is...

downpourbuy a g400
cant really fix bad build quality
What?! I'm on a G400s (had a G400 before) and it has one of the worst wheels I've used. Other than that it's a great mouse, but Logitech could really do something to improve it.

flynn__downpouri had a death adder 3.5g as well as the black edition
switched to the g400 in one day
your move
To be fair my friend went through 3 G400's which all had the same cable issue where the mouse would keep disconnecting from his PC mid-game, all the while screaming "RAZER FANBOY!!!" at me because I bought a DA.
but that issue can be completely circumvented by doing 1 of SEVERAL things. By a mouse cable holder (don't know the technical name), tape the cord to your desk and give yourself some slack, put something somewhat heavy ontop of the cable and give yourself some slack. By doing those last 2 things I've had the same G400 for almost 2 years now.
While the death adder issue seems to be related to poor build quality with not much you can do about it (at least with the newer series of DAs).

honestly its logitechs fault and its pretty funny because the same problem keeps coming up. my old mx518 from 2006 broke in the same way. g400 was broken out of the box. its bad design.
the solution, ironically, is to take a death adder cord and put it in.
g400 is like the worst mouse to use as an example of quality. probably more of them break than work.
ComangliaBy a mouse cable holder (don't know the technical name)
mouse bungee. may prevent the problem, or not and it still breaks

Both Razer and Logitech mouses are fine, but they are nothing compared to Mad Catz R.A.T 9
Now THAT is a proper gamer mouse and its amazing.
As for the mouse problem. I had a razer mouse that had the scroll issue AND Razer Taipan which had a similar problem where the mouse-wheel click function wasn't responding as well till it just stopped working. So the sensors in those mouses for wheels are quite low quality or just not that durable.
