I heard about this con going down at the Washington convention center on August 16-17th. The tickets are expensive as fuck (one day ticket is $40) and I am too young to play in any of the tournaments. I am only going if other people going so if you live in the D.C/MD/VA(?) area and plan on going let me know. There is a smash and quake tournament (18+) if that's you thing.
