From the perspective of someone who has played a season with him (unlike a good 80%+ in this thread, I'm pretty sure):
His attitude and skill have improved a lot since his "whats your sens" days. From what I can tell, the majority of any negative comments he might make are under his breath when he's playing and dies to a soldier or something. However, he makes an equal amount of positive remarks (compliments on teammates plays or whatever) so it's not really a red flag or anything.
Skill-wise he's pretty DM-heavy (like 90% of scouts), but as he gets comfortable with a team I've noticed he tends to run in and die less. Also prone to kill the demo and force the medic when he was just "supposed" to go die to switch to sniper or something.

tl;dr: Yes the Maus Trap situation is vaguely amusing and most people probably saw it coming, but Dflame is pretty good and I had fun playing with him last season.
