Started Junior year of high school. Kind of blows because my schedule didn't fit in Band, a class/extracurricular that I've been doing and enjoying since 5th grade. My band teacher's at least letting me do pep and marching band on the side, but no concert sadly. Otherwise, not bad. Classes aren't extremely difficult SO far and it's nice seeing friends often again. Good luck to everyone else starting out the new school year!
I turn 23 next week this thread makes me feel old.
Start School tomorrow. Senior year and I only have 2 actual classes (English and Calc, other 4 classes are easy stuff like gym and art). Going to be an easy year I would say.
im a moron and scheduled late so im taking classes in 2 different campuses on the same day
Classes are pretty boring but my friends make them go by fast

Already a week in and already swamped with homework, hooray for engineering college
-protowtf is summer work? do you have to do school shit during summer? fuck that
In Maryland schools,(idk about other states/countries) you can sign for advanced placement classes, that have double the credits(and being considerably harder) and looks great on your college application. Most of these classes require work during summer to be done.

Final year at college. At least two, if not three term projects this semester, capstone, and basically living in the lab. Yay.
I am excited though, field seminar class should be a ton of fun.

Same thing in D.C schools I had reading assignments and AP World History assignments to do. I didn't finish all my reading assignments and decided to opt out of the AP class two weeks before school started. Now I am in a world history II class with only 9 people in the mornings and today I found out that the reading assignments were due next week...

Already first day at school? What is the usual school schedule there in the US?
Here you usually end around early june (exams late june) and start mid (15th) september only, middleschool, highschool and college/univ alike, never seen anyone start in august.

LionxI start my junior year of high school next week. Still haven't done my summer homework. 2 year IB program here I come.
Starting my junior year as well. 5 AP's, but no IB program at our school. School starts tomorrow and I'm only just now finishing up my AP US History homework.

My kiddo started 1st grade a few weeks ago - I'd forgotten what it was like to wake up so early.
