So had KQLY not been VAC banned I would have said "some of his shots can be chalked up to 16-tick GOTV demos and luck" but his VAC ban makes me question some of the shots he's been shown to have pulled off.

It's also making me be alittle suspicious of olofmeister, especially over this play. It still suffers from the 16-tick problem but it is must still look pretty insane at 128 tick.

jw wouldn't surprise me either since he played on a team that was disqualified before for hacking, and probably hacked himself in the past.

It's possible

A big problem is that there's little supervision on stage, and having it in Steam Cloud or on a USB makes for easy transfer. So some people could be hacking on lan and one of the most suspicious KQLY clips I've seen was on lan iirc

That being said smn (from ALTERNATE and also the first guy who got ESEA then VAC banned for this cheat) had atrocious stats on lan while his online performance was incredible, I think i saw one that was like a 30-bomb with 80% hs on mirage, and an 80-bomb for the whole bo3. So he at least probably wasn't hacking on lan

shit man ive been convinced that at least a few of the top players have shit loaded onto their mice with a panic button on the keyboard or some crazy shit like that for a whileeeeeeeeeeeee now.

There's a very low chance of Fnatic having their current starting five end up at DHW with that roster.

JW, Krimz, and Olof have all had massive hackusations in the past, and this recent fiasco seems to be bringing up even more questioning surrounding them.

Edit - JW and Olof especially already have pretty convincing evidence surrounding them.

and from his story it seems like he knew the coder (steamid 17) sf (steamid 18) and kqly all used, but only suspected olof/jw/krimz because of their playstyle being similar to people who used the aimassist.

its possible a lot of fnatic use an aimassist, but i doubt its superex0's, and superex0's never would have been found out if it wasnt for the fact that he said no to the wrong autistic hacker so who knows what other cheats will go undetected.

How could a hack script get through steam cloud though? Isn't that monitored by VAC as well?

You can't expect any anti cheat to be omniscient. Their's simply waaay to many variables.

smn is just throwing a fit. its pretty normal for someone caught cheating to make grandiose claims about it being more widespread than it is (smn said that 30%-40% of pros cheat) because thats how they rationalize it to themselves (I cheat because everyone else does)

he went from a nobody to a somebody of course hes going to milk it esp when he knows his time in the spotlight is gonna end pretty soon

c9, they will do well if their players do well and don't choke. Every team ever is like that, thats how it works?
VP is inconsistent, but they already won 1 major, so why couldn't they step up and do it again?
fnatic is a good team and we shouldn't just assume they will get a banned player.

I said that because they haven't been banned yet. If they get banned of course, but they haven't been yet. Why should I just willy-nilly blame other teams? How do we know thats what they meant, or that fnatic have actually been putting a lot of work into the game recently and need a break? I'm going to be cautious but not on a witchhunt for cheaters.
