Hey Guys and Gals,
Your old friend paladin here. In my time away from TF2 I have been studying hard at University. Naturally, I wanted to combine my interest in games with my interest in the academic side of research. I have done so, somewhat successfully, in the form of a survey I have created. I am here now appealing to you all, my former friends, teammates, and opponents, for help! I need you to take my survey. This survey is about decision-making in video-games and it should not take more than 10-15 minutes. By taking this survey you will really be helping me out a lot. You might even learn something about yourself and your gaming habits that you hadn't previously considered.
Feel free to ask any questions you have about TF2, my research, or anything else. Thank you guys so much for your support.

Sitting takes years off your life. The human body was not built to sit for extended periods. I'm 29. Yeah.

lexs"Because of my video game playing..." how am I supposed to know how I got my headache or migraine?
Has it been occurring more frequently during longer periods of gaming, is it something that only occurs when gaming? Just look back to points during your life and see if its been around forever or has only been a problem since you started playing games.

correlation != causation?

Obviously correlation is not causation. What the question is asking is whether you experience a head ache after playing video games, where if in a similar space of time you didn't play any video games and did not experience any symptoms of a headache you can conclude that your head ache is being brought about by your video game playing. Of course if this is the case then there is some inherent feature or property of video game play that causes headaches be it the rapid change in colors or the fact that your are viewing a three dimensional reality from a two dimensional representation or the audio/visual stimuli overload, or a concomitance of these and many other properties of video game play.
I hope that satisfies and explains what is meant by the question. If not then you are probably asking a philosophical question as to the nature of the sensation of pain in terms of why do head pains exist, why does the sensation of pain relate to negative influences of the external world, or why do headaches cause pain when brains themselves don't have pain receptors, or why it is of evolutionary benefit to have head pains.

I just put their aliases, although I do make a habit of getting peoples real names lol.
I also abrogated the lists by putting "see previous list" lol I couldn't help myself.
Also question - is piracy considered stealing perse? lol Because if it is, well hell yeah I've stolen lol.

If you pay for the electrons and the service that sends you particular electrons, it's not your business where they come from

The way this question (and other similar questions) is worded makes me feel like a fucking asshole for saying "very often" but when I think about it I don't really have any problem with this. Obviously I'm not gonna be a total asshat to people (and help out new players and shit), but I don't understand how you could not play games for personal satisfaction.
If anyone answered differently I'd like to hear your viewpoint.

I answered often, cause I don't care about haters, not because I don't try to be a spirit of a team, was that wrong?

This seems like a survey meant to subliminally make me feel guilty for playing video games instead of to give data

That second part was pretty dumb, to be honest, so I just skimmed through that. I hope "my steam bros" is a sufficient answer.

It depends on who you are playing with, though the question is a bit oddly worded. If I do a clear for the first time with my guild, that's a good feeling because I not only helped myself, but my team as well. Same thing with people who main support classes, they get enjoyment from helping as well as doing their own job (for the most part, at least/hopefully).
At least that's how I took the question.

But then there's other questions later that ask about cooperative stuff
