they're possibly too hard for ~5 y/o people, though..

also: Rayman, The Neverhood(!!!), Samorost, Samorost 2, Machinarium(!!!)

great thread, though! i saw many many really good suggestions that i played, and loved, as a kid myself :D

keep in mind these are really only good with a controller, but they are top-tier all-age games

The Lego games (Star Wars, LOTR and whatever others there are now) are great fun. You can play co-op with them and have fun yourself as well if you want, I remember playing through the first star wars one with my little brother and it was great innocent fun.

Pokemon is always a winner as well.
