my team mate zz has asparagus and cannot get his ESEA to work as it says you must be running the esea client to play on this server after being on the server for several minutes. He has contacted an admin and he's still not solved the issue
plz help :)
plz help :)
help them please they won't stop freaking out in mumble
what I've gathered is that he's done all there is to do (entered steam id, connected account/directory, asked marquis about some fix) and there is some sort of mystery problem that's maybe hardware related.
And did he try joining the server through the ESEA client?
Did he uninstall and reinstall from here? http://play.esea.net/index.php?s=downloads&d=view&id=1
why doesnt he just post on his own so that you dont have to play messenger boy
we've had a whole day to try everything possible including tickets, talking to admins, redownloading, verifying tf2, following all the FAQ steps for this error, and triple checking everything steam ID related off the top of my head

Does one need Premium to log into the client??
That's fucking moronic, I can't believe this is something that's accepted by the community. I misread the post where I didn't understand how the "paying up" worked. It's a monthly fee. A monthly fucking fee.

drak It's been this way for years now I don't get how this is fucking news. Maybe if you don't want to pay for a NA league, you can go check out UGC 6s with their plethora of skill and competition.

Why would you involve yourself like this?
That's just bm, we've played you before, it's been fun, I'm sorry a separate team decision led to you not being played with. We all missed out on fun, I think.
To others: it was to be my first season in ESEA, and I had never bothered to think that it could be more than a one time fee, every season. The same goes for a few teammates.
Port forwarding needed for the client on top of everything? Not for me nor my teammates, we have our losses. We'll go populate UGC whatever and at least not have the hassle of "no refunds" in the first place.

If you're looking for a reason as to why there is premium and league fees it's because ESEA is a counter strike league that hosts pugs as well as leagues. Paying premium gets you into pugs and the league fee is for playing on a team.
