You can join no matter what your hours are. Just keep in mind you're there to learn. Follow the rules and listen to the coaches and your teammates and you should be fine. Also, you will need mumble and a mic.
ok. do I just go on the mumble thing like 30 mins before it starts? how will I join the game? Sign up for classes? Is it all in the mumble chat?

Yeah, the drafting and all that stuff is done through mumble. So you'll have to join mumble, choose what class you wanna play, join the channel for that class. There are skill levels as sub-channels; such as Beginner, Intermediate, etc. If you have 50 hours I'm guessing you're a beginner, but it's always good to have people start early. If you play them every week I can guarantee you you'll learn a lot about the 6s meta. The coaches there are all really nice people with a vast knowledge of the game.

It's always nice to see new players interested in 6v6. Hope you have fun and learn a lot! If you want a little more advice, don't be afraid to ask questions and don't get discouraged even if you don't do well.
HerganDo you guys accept non-American players too?
Yes, as long as you speak english (which you probably do considering you browse tf.tv). The only issue is on your side, which is that it starts at 9EST which is usually pretty late for the euros.

I believe so, but I think there is a European newbie mixes group now:
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/nlpg
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/nlpg2
Anyway, as long as you don't mind the ping and time difference and can speak and understand English, I don't think non-NA players will be excluded.
EDIT: haha got ninja'd

The time difference shouldn't be a problem really (unless Poland is in some dumb timezone again, which means I have those mixes at 4 AM instead of 3 AM), the English shouldn't be a problem too

It's a fairly significant upgrade to play with 50 ping than 150, I'd recommend playin in your home court if possible

It is possible, but I most of the time miss them because I'm busy with stuff, and with NA mixes, the hour they're on suits me

I am still attempting to figure out my main... I like scout and demo, and am alternating between them. Should I just choose one, or keep on alternating for now? I'm slightly leaning to scout right now.

Scout is easier to learn because you don't need to know rollouts and stuff, keep on Scout

new event; same thread. should i create a new thread? I like that an older thread creates a sort of natural FAQ for new readers.
hey so since I installed a new OS i forgot to save my mumble stuff and now I can't join the mumble server for newbie mixes, can anyone with admin powers in newbie mixes delete my account that is registered on that server? I think I was under the alias Duke

hey man, I don't see "Duke" listed in the list of registered users. make sure you're connecting to the right mumble -chi4.tragicservers.com : 64737
otherwise I'd recommend just changing names in mumble to Duke_ or something
