Doesnt The Mionix Naos 7000 Have the same sensor as the avior, thus no mouse accel?

erkstonBucakeanyone any experience with aliminium pads?
what's the biggest aluminium pad you guys know of?
I won an In Win Rocker Mat in a raffle that I thought I would never use, but I ended up really liking and using over my old QcK. It's a little cold to the touch sometimes but other than that it's great. Not sure how big you're looking for but I think mine is 9"x 12" or so.
thanks alot for your suggestion!
i'm not sure if 12" x 9" would cut it for me, but i can't even find a source to buy this from :o

Has anyone else here that has a G400s experienced issues with the sensor ? Specifically the tracking spazzing out sometimes when trying to do a fast flick motion like a rocket jump.

the G400S i had was functioning just fine.
what surface (mouse mat/pad) are you using? some sensors and surfaces don't go well together.
what DPI and hertz settings are you using?
have you turned acceleration off in your OS and in your game?
are you using the logitech software/drivers?

So... My g400s died today. Both mouse buttons stopped working, pretty sure it shorted b/c when I went inside and pressed the switches manually, it still wouldn't click.
Any suggestions for mice? The OP seems to have disappeared

Send your g400s back and they will send you a g402. They're way more durable than the g400 and feel very similar even though they look different.

fk1 and fk2 are the same, internally. they both use the 3310, just like the ec1-a.
maybe you've misread, or misunderstood. otherwise, you were misinformed.
the only difference is the shape, because (i believe) all 3 mice use the same coating now.

Are there any really big, reliable, high quality mousepads? I'm talking like 20+ inches. I'd like one, but I don't see any in either this thread or most places that are widely recommended. The popular ones are all 12-14 inches, which I can deal with but would prefer not to. The few 20 inch+ mousepads I see have very few reviews so I'm a bit wary.

This one is pretty large, and it has an extra thick option as well.
It has quite a few reviews, and a majority of them are very favorable (other than the logo in the corner)

@Mankut
the corepad deskpad xxxxl has always served me very well.
it tracks like a pro. i've never had any issues, with 6 different mice.
of course the anti-slip rubber works fine as well.
after more than a year, mine only has some (very, very) light wearing on the edge where my right arm meets the pad.
the wear would probably not even be there if the pad wasn't so close to the edge of my table.
i've started using hard pad some time ago, but i still have the corepad lying on my desk, simply for comfort :>
it doesn't get cold (unlike my glass table), and of course the material is nicely soft.
as a bonus, it serves as a mild sound-absorber for when you type ;p
here's a pic that shows how large it is: le bureau.
i suppose it might be too large, but i figured i might as well share my experience.
PS: kut means vagina (cunt) in Dutch. Mancunt.

The mionix sargas 900 is fantastic. It's microfiber so my mouse glides super well, and feels really good.

Mionix Ensis 320 Heard some really good things from this Hard Mouse Pad, probably getting it soon.
The Naos 7000 from Mionix is excellent, the sensor is amazing, almost no hw accel, tons of dpi options, flows great on my QcK, the only issue is that I have gigantic fingers, and still dont feel comfortable using this mouse unless Im really relaxed. When claw you just sorta rest your fingers on the pertruding parts of the mouse. And the turn up DPI button gets in the way sometimes, you can disable this though. Overall, great mouse.

Just as a quick correction, the Naos 7000 has zero sensor acceleration (save a very small consistent acceleration persistent in every sensor); the 3310 is effectively flawless in every respect. The only major sensor issue would be excessive smoothing present with the initial release of the Naos/Avior due to the 7000 cpi SROM implemented by Mionix, which has since been reduced to effectively negligible levels with past firmware updates.

Thinking of replacing my Deathadder 2013 with a Microsoft IME 3.0, but I have heard some complaints about the longevity of the WMO 1.1, IMO 1.1 and the IME 3.0. Are there any physical flaws with the mice or are they as perfect as described?

Longevity is one of the plusses. My wmo is like 8+ years old I think, nothing wrong yet.

Been looking into getting an aluminum pad but not sure which one. I want something large than 12" horizontally and can work on optical sensors. Was looking into getting the SlamePad but it's not sold in the US and I want to make sure it's a good investment with $60-70.
I thought about just grabbing a piece of anodized aluminum and gluing some rubber to the bottom but apparently it needs to be coated with something for mice to track well on it so idk.

So should I upgrade to a something else IMMEDIATELY? I'm pretty used to the (I'm going to guess) minimal mouse accel on my mouse, would it be worth it to just drop everything and buy a new one NOW? I'm holding out on birthday money in June. Kinda wanted to wait till then if at all possible

It's down to personal preference though, IMO harder mouse pads makes the mouse glide over the pad easier, so combine d with high sens it may make it hard to control your movements.
