i make my own sandwiches because subway is expensive unless you can somehow handle a meat to bread ratio of 1:4
There's only one near me and I knew some people that worked there and now am afraid to eat at that store after stories they told me.

Are American Subways that bad really? I went to a one when I was on a holiday in Florida couple years ago and it wasn't that good so I thought that it was only one time then, then came back to Finland after that and it was great again as usually.

probably not in general

there's your problem
personally I go for meatball w/ onions + cheese because it's the only thing at subway you can't really find somewhere else
also if you don't get toasted you are a sad person who eats sad sandwiches

I don't like subway, I can't eat cold sandwiches (preference). However at potbelly I go with this
Italian, regular size
Italian seasoning
sour cream and onion/regular barbeque chips
either a vanilla or chocolate malt or a cookies and cream shake
sometimes a cream soda

100% Vegetarian w/ provolone, toasted with the goods and a noticeable amount of mayo/ranch... mmmmm <3
if u live near any bodega and you're getting subway we have 2 talk
my twin brother kevin is right, that meat to bread ratio is rough
i do get meatball subs from subway if they have them on the 5$ footlong rotation and i wanna feel like shit afterwards

I am currently working at one in Illinois and i can honestly say I've never seen anyone here do something that is truly disgusting.
Before I worked there I got:
Monterrey cheddar
Chicken teriyaki
Lettuce, tomato, green peppers, banana peppers, mayo and chipotle southwest
Now that I'm working there I switch my sandwiches but my favorite is
Italian herbs and cheese
Chicken breast add pepperoni and marinara sauce
Tomatoes, oregano, and ranch
Side note: if you get a footlong meatball with all of the veggies on it please die. Thanks

You can get sandwiches toasted at subway, and they also have an italian meatball sub that's already hot as well.

What kind of shitty subway are you going to? Every time I go to one it's pretty flavorful, no matter what I get.

i always get flatbread that way the meat to bread ratio is better
In the good old days where the subs were 5 dollars for footlongs. I used to get the spicy italian provolone cheese on toasted flatbread with spinach, onions, jalapenos, peppers, oil and vinegar. But at the price they've been around here($5.50-7.00) I'd rather get fucked in the ass at panera.

Went to various subways in various countries, all pretty much the same.
