whenever i hear about kendrick lamar i think of my crazy ass english teacher who didnt teach and talked about racial unity while adlibbing "hiipower" and other kendrick mannerisms throughout her lectures

so in short no i wont listen to it i cant think of kendrick without cringing

this album is pretty good!

I've listened to most of it and I like what I hear. Yeah, it's a bit different, but he makes a powerful statement with the songs and the production is great. Kinda wanted to see more TDE features, but I think it's still a really solid album.

I don't listen to anything that doesn't at least get a 9 on pitchfork xdddd

king kunta is 10/10

It's so different that GKMC that I don't see much point comparing the two. I only gave it one listen so far, but I liked what I heard from it. King Kunta is really growing on me, loved TBTB the minute it came out, and How Much a Dollar Cost I thought was excellent. Gonna have to give it at least a few weeks, but it's something I can see myself coming back to.
