We are in need of an experienced web developer, preferably with some design skill as well. All work would ideally be on a volunteer basis.
If interested, please send a portfolio and contact info to staff@tipofthehats.org
Thanks!

I know someone, I'll ask her. She's might not be able to commit though. I'm willing to try myself but I'm not very good at this.
EDIT: She won't do it without pay.
I have a pretty good amount of experience working as a backend dev, but it seems like you're looking for more of a UX/front-end guy. Hope someone here is able to step up!
This is off topic but is the charity gonna be One Step Camp again? Have you guys tried to go for other charities like Kiwanis/Key Club's Project Eliminate? Sorry if I sound rude, I just wanna toss some ideas around if you guys plan to switch charities every now and then.
I have experience with Web Development. I have a Web portfolio on www.josthings.com. That is a small example of what I can do. Threw that together in a few hours.

I'm all for wordpress templates but you should really get rid of / replace the placeholder text left over in the web design section

I'm gonna be blunt and say this is obvious, with spelling mistakes, unfinished pages, and horrendous performance on the photography page.

If you have a good connection and PC. Those images are't really thumbnails, they are 5000 pixels wide, just downscaled in your browser.
Honestly it'd be much better to make a PDF and send to sean in a PM than barely fill themeforest template and post it on forums admitting that it was thrown together in few hours like that means anything :P
It's not like website is a must ;)
Sorry guys I made that last minute for a school project. And my dyslexic so I guess it doesn't help. But if you want see something I actually spent time on I can link some actual projects from jobs such as Georgia.Com

Wow that's really impressive

Don't worry about it, I may have unintentionally sounded passive aggressive again (wink, wink), but my point was that PDF would be fine and it'd be much easier and cheaper to do in such a short time :P What matters most is the contect anyways.

Yea. Good point thanks for not being harsh. Like I admitted their was little effort put into it. Was not expecting so much backlash. Well cheers

We have a very good relationship with one step camp. For 2015 it will be benefiting them still as they do great things and we are happy with them.
Can you be more specific of what you would be expecting from a web developer?

Would like to know also, if it's just a static website I'd love to help out
I know the team behind The Numix Theming Project: https://numixproject.org/
Just contacted them and asked if they could help out with a charity event, will update soon!
me and 2 people will do it for 1% of the total donation
Update: Georgi (one of the designers) agreed to help out with the TOTH website design! I'll get him in touch with the TOTH staff.
Bump, we're touching base with a few people but are still looking!
As far as additional information on what would be required goes, here are some specifics provided by Lange.
